Severe freezes upon entering new instances

Hello, I´m having severe freezing issues that started occuring a couple of days ago in the war within prepatch currently active.

I included a little video for you to see as well of what I mean. My whole game basically freezes for a couple of seconds upon entering a new instance (dungeon, raid, etc.) and it˙s incredibly annoying and just started appearing out of thin air.

I tried many things myself including completely reinstalling the game as well as basically all of my addons, running the game with all addons disabled (as you can see in the video as well) and tinkering with specific graphic settings amongst other things. Also updated my GPU drivers (I have an AMD RX 6600, drivers are now 24.5.1. ).

I´m left clueless as to what is causing this very frustrating issue. I´ve been playing with addons including elvui and weakauras for a long time now and never really had any issues apart from now, especially not severe ones like this.

Shucks, I was kind of hoping it was the beginnining of a new system to prevent Illidumbs and other people with wasp´s nests in their bum from running off before everyone was even zoned in…

I’m experiencing same freezes but only on my mage and only in Legion Dalaran. Also in my case it happens only uppon logging to the game or several minutes later being in Dalaran on that specific character. Freezes started like 8 days ago.

Been having these issues since prepatch also, sometimes to the point of ‘WoW not responding’ notif.

Assumed my CPU was having issues but seems too much of a coincidence it happening just as prepatch dropped
