once we manage to get to 60 do we auto lose the SF status? i want to level my enchanting but it means switching to BS at some point to make the mats, this will mean quite a bit of time being sinked into it but if it removes my status at 60 then there wouldn’t be any need for me to go that far since the AH and stuff would be open either way once i hit 60. i haven’t read or been able to find a definitive answer.
No you keep it in the Soul of Iron Buff. There will be the achievement “Unbroken Self-Found Champion”
You also can remove the SF Buff and start to trade normally then. Ofc the SF Buff beside the Soul of Iron Buff will be removed then and only in the Soul of Iron Buff you see that the person was Self-Found.
i would prefer to maintain the SF aspect even at 60 but being honest here, if i know it will take me 2/3 weeks to get the arcanite bar i will need and then the bs levelling etc or use an ah in 10 seconds i will likely just use the AH if it is open. i would rather it wasn’t.

i won’t be changing it myself, i just want to know i am not wasting my time in SF for it to be removed at 60 automatically,
