You could at least make a temporary fix by simply adding a TP Dalaran → Shadowfang.
The major problem currently is not that the LFG isn’t working, it’s that we (alliance players) have to walk the whole Azeroth to get there.
I don’t think add a simple TP take more than 1 hour of work.

Putting reward into box won’t make you get it faster either. We got guild and friends party yesterday with rotation of 7 people and around 25 alts. 3 pets dropped.

Still no TP and no reward bag. Running there and trying to form a group with random guys that dont care about the collectables but needing them anyway is frustrating. For sure there won´t by any additional days of the event as a way to appologize to players for not having the event ready when it should.

If this is how you handle a game, then real life must suck for you. But then i guess you are the person that asks for a summon from Dalaran to ICC. I was simply pointing out that you can still get the mount and pet from the boss, you don’t need the Heart-Shaped Box for that.
the thing is, all of us are paying money for this game, the bare minimum what you could expect that things working as they should. i can totally understand why ppl are mad about this as this event has lot of rare collectables and it only lasts for 2 weeks annually.
sadly this is not the first time when they just totally ignore the state of world events before they go live. my point here is those events are not really “unexpected” as they have strict start dates in the in-game calendar, so it shouldn’t be a surprise for blizzard to handle it in time.
based on how long it takes to “fix the bug”, i’d rather say they just started implementing in production.
like 5 of my alts are stuck on a dead realm, and kinda hard to find a group to summon those bosses. so i already missed like 2 days worth of summons which is getting worse each day.
Well you can form a group with guys outside of your server tho. You cant teleport do dung, but you can even summ them and meet them inside.
oh… i just checked it and you are right, welp at least its something, i thought without the rdf option its just not possible to simply invite another character on a different realm and just walk in the dungeon. thanks
Yeah that’s 100% true, every holiday event that comes out seems there’s something broken every time. This is nothing new, they stopped caring a long time ago unfortunately.
Also, the premade groups option is cross realm so you will probably have better luck using that.
Putting it in the box would require 4 less kills per character, so yeah it would be a bit faster and less demanding time wise.
That is considering if the rates of the box are not 5 times less what a traditional group had. Also there is downside of duplicates. I had 3 headless horseman mount drops, while some people in our group had none and I couldn’t handle them extra mounts.
With a traditional group of guildies or friends you compete for loot for 5 players, but if each player needs different item you are helping each other to get those items faster.
Well thats true, I was running it today on 6 of my characters, took me almost 2hours. SO yeah this kind of solution they gave us is quite bad.
Nothing else to say. One of the latest subscription game still existing, one of the most expensive, and one of the most neglected specially when it comes to Classic.
We are paying the same amount but we don’t have the same treatment. Classic players are just a financial bonus for blizzard nothing else.

most likely its because SoD that this is broken anyway…
This fix takes 5-10 minutes.
They are not a small indie company or giant billion dollar company… They are a 3+ trillion dollar company.
Please fix this already…
