Has anyone figured out the approx. respawn time of Sha of Anger? I’ve been staring at the screen for almost 3 hours now and slowly but steadily go into insanity. Different sources tell me everything from 15 minutes to 16 hours.
I need to ask just in case: you are aware there are multiple spawn points, right?
Yes, my guildie told me there’s a zonewide alert in chat when it spawns though, so you can’t miss it. And I’ve been watching it closely, absolutely nothing yet.

The spawn should be 15 min.
I guess it’s another multi dollar company moment then 
I have theories of either broken layers, or that it circles between layers. Like it spawns in layer 1, then 2, then 3, and then back to 1 again. So if you’re in layer 1 and miss the kill, you’re gonna have to wait until it’s dead in both layer 2 and 3, and then respawning in 1 again. Even so, I guess it still should be faster than 3 hours. So perhaps it’s just a case of my layer being broken.
A guildie of mine also spent hours waiting for Sha so your idea of broken layers could have some merit. I have seen Sha spawn on the same layer back to back, he died before I could tag him and then I waited for the next one just hanging out in the middle of the zone, everything was normal. Didn’t take the time, but 15-20 minutes sounds right
I definitely think there’s something going on with layers, yes. After about 3 hours of waiting in layer 1, I managed to snag an invite to layer 3 where someone in the custom group finder said he had a Sha spawn. Once I layer swapped, the layer was almost empty and we killed it with 30/40-ish layer swappers. During my hours of waiting, I also had two people confirm Sha existing in other layers (must’ve been 2 or 3 since Firemaw only has 3 layers currently). Layer 1 seems cursed.
and the horde has only layer 1, so we’re completely cooked. Everyone I know have not seen a single Sha, despite camping for hours. There’s no reason for Sha not to be up all the time, considering 10k ppl mega-servers
Indeed. Now that I have my one kill for the epic boots, I can’t justify myself camping for hours again for another kill. Perhaps I’m getting old, but I value my time more than that nowadays.
