How will shadow priest do when it comes to AoE in Shadowlands mythic dungeons?
From my testing on the beta, our AoE is very strong and has far less ramp up time than it does on live right now.
We also have a far greater choice of how we want to approach dungeon content too. So for example, if we know the dungeon is going to be 4-5+ mobs per pack, taking Searing Nightmare will be the preferred option, whereas dungeons with more packs but the average being about 3 mobs per pack, running Misery into Psychic Link would be a lot better.
Correct useage of StM is also going to be a huge factor on bigger pulls and higher keys, as we’ll pretty much have a Voidform up for each pack and be able to benefit from the cast on the move + Sear/Nightmare combo.
TL;DR - We’re gunna be damn good at it.
IF they dont nerf everything to the ground…or do last minute changes that destroys the spec…
At this point is not 100%.
If the pre-patch event goes live with the curent changes then yes, we will be awesome!!
I’d expect some tuning. Searing Nightmare is hitting way too hard atm. But we put our power down faster and have much better tools for mass aoe than before so expect it to be an improvement over BFA.
Love these comments…
It will help me make a choice between shadow and affliction…
So far i like both the specs, hard time choosing
