Shadow buff 10% is not much

Do you even use evocation in a duel? like seriously… what kind of argument is this :joy:

Waiting for the enemy to die? in 6 seconds? so… people die to 2 ticks of dots now? VP ticks for around 300 and SW:P for around 200… - even if they all crit, its around 1700 damage  (that’s extremely unlikely btw as Spriest have about 10% crit chance) so realistically, You’re taking 2 ticks of damage for 1000 damage total…

Stop with the bs

Everyone talking down on casters should be forced to pvp on a warrior

Everyone talking bs on forums about nerfing classes based on 1v1 PvP should just stop typing and realise that the game isn’t going to be balanced around solo PvP and is based around group content. Which priests are lacking behind on, clearly.

Out of curiosity, Who do you think would win in a 2v2 scenario with a Warrior + Disc Priest vs a Spriest + Disc Priest?

I can confidently say that the Warrior + Disc Priest would win 99% of the time.

You can? You tried it alot?

Like that “one button cleansing” these dots is free to do, and doesn’t expose paladin. This forum never ceases to spawn more “special” people everyday.

Well, its pretty obvious don’t you think? I’ll give you a few reasons why just incase you don’t understand the basics.

Warrior has MS to negate 50% of the heals.
Warrior is practically immune to fear (the only reliable CC a priest has).
Disc Priest can dispell both Spriest’ dots so Spriest only damage comes from hard casts.

So what does that leave the Spriest with? Hard casting mind spikes (around 350 avg damage per cast) and Mind Blast (around 700 avg damage per cast).

How much damage does a Warrior do when its tunnelling a cloth target? Pretty sure its more than 350 damage per 1.5seconds.

The one button press (1 global), negates a Spriests 2 global cast dots + one of which is a 6second CD.

Expose paladin? to what? its not like cleanse can be interrupted. What are you even talking about.

Ingredients

  • 1 quart vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 cups shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 cups dry bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Working one at a time, dip shrimp into beaten egg, allowing any excess egg to drip back into the bowl. Press into bread crumbs to coat both sides. Place the breaded shrimp, unstacked, onto a plate. Repeat with remaining shrimp.
  3. Lower breaded shrimp carefully into preheated oil in batches. Fry until crispy and golden brown, about 4 to 5 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Repeat with remaining breaded shrimp.

:joy:

point proven.

A warrior does really low dmg on a priest, how many dispells do you think you can cast before oom?
Shadowpriests produce debuffs like crazy
10% stun chance on dots.
Two fears, so you wont be that immune.

I think you think warriors are so good, but without windfury they are meh

More dispels than the Spriest can cast his DoTs considering the DoTs cost more mana in total than a dispel does.

If you’re referring to Homunculi, they would never go on the warrior in this scenario and even if they did, it’s practically free rage for the Warrior.

Which can also be dispelled, even if it doesnt, 3 seconds will allow a priest to cast 2x Mind Spikes or Mind Spike + Mind Blast for 1k damage max.

Berserker rage has the same CD as fear does (unless Spriest talented which gives the Spriest a 4second window to get in a maximum 4second fear) and that’s not including the Warrior having a PvP trinket.

What’s the second fear?

His scenario was dic+war vs sp+disc.
Both sp and disc can fear

the arguemnt that mage is the only class that still needs mana in this game you woudnt understand it

He is “pro” with mage and war yet he havent even maxed them

Not really, your confirmational bias is not enough to convince blizzard. Group pvp we are nothing special as dots are easierly dispelled, especially by paladins/shamans. SP need a direct cast damage buff, probably next week and a moderate VE nerf.

Adding some crit % bonus to VE or shadowform would be a positive step.

Ehem, I think the only class which is known to have big mana issues is Druid.

with filler spell costing 0 mana and starsurge for 10mana i dont know how is that possible

wow you are a special kind of stupid

In a 1v1 scenario you get out of mana really quick with wild growth, shape shifting etc.
