Sometimes Shadow clash does not apploy dots and even removes existing ones

Yep confirmed.
On my shadow priest sometimes does not apply the dots.
Maybe it was added to the AoE target caps?

A few things to check here.
Some plate profiles choose to disable showing debuffs on certain enemies for better performance.
If you die while shadow crash is in the air dots wont apply.
There is a bug with shadow crash failing to choose undotted targets in AoE in certain circumstances.
On the PTR the two charge shadow crash is heavily bugged.

so dots applies not on same target that has dots (that is)
