Since I played both classes now for some time raiding and world content I really got to say it:
THOSE ARE REAL TALENT TREES.
Not the “bag full of passive mini buffs” other class trees are.
Both trees have a healthy mix of replacing and adding abilities.
You can make your class rotation more complex but more dps or less complex but less dps.
You can focus on either single target or multi target.
Either damage over time or direct damage.
You have a real choice of how you want to play and actual “Builds”.
The main problem with other classes is that their talent tree changes nearly nothing about the game play. And if talent trees don’t change gameplay of your class why have them in the first place? It often is a “non-decision” with other classes.
But those two talent trees are diverse, feel like having meaning and actual mix up stuff.
Ofcause someone will now say: “But online with that and that guide you can only play like that everything else is a illusion of choice” but I counter it isn’t if you actually do something different. Its okay to have illusions as long as they change up things well enough that you can “overlook” the illusion.
