Do you still use wand at max levels? if not how you deal with the pushback on casts especially Mind Flay. Power Word: Shield does not last long, especially when you fight 2+ mobs. Even in 2 mobs sometimes is even difficult to cast Mind Blast which is 1.5 sec
Does anything change in WotLK regarding spell pushback? I remember at one point they changed the mechanic to only get pushback max 1 sec but dont remember if it was in wotlk or later…
I mean you’re not gonna be fighting a lot fights as max level with mobs doing pushbacks on you, so why is that your concern? While leveling you can simply do dot + wand or something I guess.
I am just wondering how the gameplay is at max level… I asked if you still use wand when not have Shield up and use Mind Flay only when you have shield and dont get pushback… or you use mind flay anyway even if it get pushback…

In the rare cases I have to fight mobs with my spriest I usually kill them before they reach to me. You can also time your mindflay to start after the mobs attack to minimize the pushback, idk why youd have to fight 2 mobs at a time, I guess then its dots and wand if you arent having shield or martydom up. Just very weird question overall since I really dont see a realistic usecase for it.

In the daily quest “Escape from Skettis” there’s a part when two mobs spawn at the same time. They can be joined by even more mobs who wander around the area (max I was fighting was 4 at the same time iirc).
fortunately priests have fear to fend off those pesky invaders =)
yea not only this… many cases you have to fight more than one mob and if they are undead then you can shackle… if not… can use fear if possible and no danger to pull more but still not always available
