Howdy everyone! Just asking for some now updates regarding the Shadow Priests. This spec in BETA/ PTR it looks broken exactly like the Destro lock was the whole BFA Exp and despite all the feedback Blizzard received from players, they haven’t done anything with it until the end of S4. So I am asking @Blizzard. Are you going to nerf a bit the Shadow priests as they are insanely broken.?? 1 dot , just 1 dot I’ve put on and half of hp Gone. This is crazy! You tried to tune down the changes for the priests but it’s actually worse. THIS GAME ISN’T READY, YET!
No spec has been tuned at all in SL beta, fire mage and enhance shamans are both capable of literal 1 shots right now, with mm not far behind. Also SL beta PvP doesn’t have the crit modifier reduction.
It’s really strong, nobody expects it to stay like this, but there’s no reason to whine about it in the class’ forums either.
Id take a nerf to rdruud+rog toolkit, then another nerf to rog damage first id say.
Spriest was always the OP spec for… a month whilst the 2 listed above op for all BFA long.
To me Spriest did not look that broken in Beta.
Reported for obvious trolling 0/10.
Its not the dps stats that makes people happy with the class… they are somewhere just above the middle of the pack… its their playstyle thatsfun…
So let them nurf dps just before release, it will atleast make. Sure its not the flavour of the month class at release
The dot where he is talking about is not really a traditional dot, its more our version of the demonbolt, and costs 50 insanity to cast… its an execution skill…
The poster obviously has no clue about the class…
only problem i got with shadowpriest that it can outheal my burst on any class , they can keep the damage but to take 0 damage and heal like warrior with 2nd wind and ton of dmg thats not okay , just the tankiness needs to be toned down and they are fine
Paladins again. Nothing to nerf here, move along.
The worst kind of paladins: Forum Humandins.
It was OK their Holy spec dominated whole BFA raids with a huge margin hardly using any mana and mostly holy shock instacasts, now they start to seek “balance” for the other classes and specs. ![]()
I swear… I have alternated between class forums on here as I have experimented with various classes in BFA, and EVERY TIME I see a post like this it’s written by a Paladin
I’m starting to notice a pattern between personality types playing specific classes. For example toxic players being attracted to Rogues, and so far… Paladin players being whiners on forums crying out for nerfs as soon they get beaten by another class.
Fun thing is, I’m not trying to be toxic here
it is literally a Paladin every single time a post like this is made on any of the class forums.
What kind of personality priests usually are then?
Looks to me like the latest patch will nerf shadow damage on beta by about 30%.
Its not a nerf, they just adjusting numbers.
If an ability did 100 damage and does now 50 it has been nerfed.
So by “adjusting” the numbers they nerfed SP.
Except that’s not what they did. Shadow priest, like many specs, has a spell modifier that affects all of their spells when it’s buffed or nerfed. This was basically reset to 0% which alone would have been a 32% buff to the spec, but then they nerfed all spells by 32%, so the damage has essentially stayed the same.
Obviously, i missed that one… quite essential i think…
Now i need to say sorry, i guess, as the commotion is all my mistake…
Uuhh dunno about Priest
haven’t been that long on the Priest forum yet. Only long enough to see that periodic “Paladin cries for nerfs” post hehe.
But here is what I have gathered during my time in WoW so far regarding “class attracts personality”. And just bear in mind that this isn’t me saying “ALL (insert class) players are like this”. Just that I see this frequently.
Hope it’s a fun and interesting read
if someone have anything to add or change they are more than welcome to.
Rogue
8/10 times there is a Rogue in a group, they are loud personalities. They aren’t “toxic” in a typical sense, but more like they will say “I NEED THAT! GIMMI GIMME!!” when another person gets loot they need. Or if there are loot rolls happening they will literally try and cheat by trading the guy giving away the loot in hopes he doesn’t see he is giving to the wrong person, and then they will keep it and taunt afterwards.
Warlock
I have decided to stay permanently away from Warlock forums. It is the most toxic and negative forum community I have experienced. In-game however they are oddly nice people.
Demon Hunters
The EXACT opposite of Warlock. Nice/normal forum posts but SUPER toxic in-game. I have no idea why so many DH I encounter in groups are so angry all the time. Maybe their pain IS their scars!
Paladin
People who wanna play melee but are afraid of getting close to enemies, so they pick Paladin so they can feel immortal. What they don’t realize is that Paladins ONLY feel “immortal” in PvE, so as soon as they enter PvP they get schooled by people more skilled than them. Then because their “perfect image” of a Paladin gets crushed, they go to forums to vent and demand nerfs. And they WON’T be satisfied until every other class are so weak that they can finally win by just rotating through their “healing CDs” one at a time, and kill their opponent before reaching the end. Like the guy who made this post.
Warrior
Dunno.
Death Knight
Dunno.
Hunter
So there is this “hunter meme” circulating the game, which says that “Hunters always pull”. In all seriousness, I thought it was just a dumb meme that got exaggerated to make fun of Hunters because they have pets, but it is really not. I even thought that the Hunter meme started because they “pulled by accident because of their pet”, but it’s not
They are just idiots who think they are “above dungeon courtesy”. 5/10 of groups I encounter with Hunters in them have Hunters “leading the group”, by them on their own deciding when they think tank is pulling fast enough, or they ALWAYS wanna be first to hit a new pack of mobs. And they get SUPER offended and toxic when they are told “not to pull”. They are surface level toxic players.
Priest
Dunno.
Shaman
Dunno.
Mage
So used to “just taking care of themselves” with their portals and all. And they always zone into their own heads during dungeon runs without looking at chat. They rarely drop food for healers on their own, and most of the time you need to ask them 5 times before they register that you are asking for food. They aren’t “bad” or “toxic” perce, but they just don’t register what is happening in the group and only focuses on the game hehe. Oh and they accidentally pull mobs all the time, but THEY actually do it on accident.
Monk
Dunno.
Druid
Dunno.
Read again that tuning please
Warrior
Wants to lead the charge against an army and slaughter literally everyone without a scratch. If this isn’t possible, warrior is weak and they’ll cry for buffs on the forums.
Yeah i saw the part now.

Hehe. These made me laugh. The mage one SPOKE to me (I say this as a mage)
Jeez, the amount of times I have to repeatedly ask for intellect buff when playing my healer alts
In my PuG experience, DKs, Shamans and Druids all tend to be fairly chill.
