Why is shadow Priest so god damn bad and unplayable in Arena 2v2? This is ridiculous!!!
Shadow priest have no kiting at all, we get slammed down by every melee class in the world and there is nothing we can do when trained. And of course blizzard decides to nerf shaodw priest in pvp 10.0.1.
- WHY is blizzard removing Void Origins pvp talent (makes void eruption instant), This is probably the DUMBEST change in the world. NOBODY is struggling against shadow priests. Mage has instant burst cd, why cant we?
- Damnation REMOVED? This is going to make instant dots so hard because EVERYONE moves out of shadowcrash when you cast it, its practicly useless. and now , one of the classes that barely can cast anything (shadow priest) is getting even more casting.

Blizzard i seriously think you dont care about balancing. This is horibble. I am excited for my favorite spec in the game to be unplayable in PvP.
Also what about the tournament that blizzard hosted where you can literally see a shadow priest get trained and not be able to do anything except DIE. Good Lord blizzard. The problem is right infront of your eyes, yet you make it a bigger problem. Why cant shadow priest have a somewhat instant teleport. Mages have blink, Warlocks have port. Blizzard Plz fix shadow priest!

I think they are trying to move casters (slow but sure) into a more hard cast direction. The treatment for Elemental is similar to spriests. They remove a staple pvp talent and replace it with one that rewards you for hard casted lavabursts and reduce the power of stormkeeper. (instant lightning bolts) I havenât studied the changes for SP yet but I think since they nerf interrupts and ccâs across the board in Season 2 hardcasts could actually not be so bad. Weâll seeâŠ
Yes But the problem is we casters get trained so incredibly much and its ALWAYS Melee doing 10x more damage !

Yeah. It works for Warlocks because they are tanky, have an incredible cc arsenal and multiple defensives and even good mobility. But this form of balance doesnât work for other castersâŠ
The thing is, instead of melee being less oppressive theyâre actually going the other direction- take Retardins redesign where theyâre much more oppressive than before. This is why their direction with SP makes no sense, especially their argument that SP has too many instant casts - like what!? Most other casters instants actually harm their enemies, while SPs hit like wet freaking noodles, why the hell are their specifically targeting SPs with this retarded argument? Our main source of damage gets removed with barely any punishment, and specs like retardins have a tool passively baked into their rotation which completely nullifies us. Frost mages spamming upwards 100K instants while being infinitely more mobile are no biggie for them. The only explanation I have is thereâs someone on Blizz who has a grudge towards SPs. Whenever SPs are strong damage wise, it gets instantly nerfed into oblivion. Other specs are allowed to stay broken for months.
Anyways I hope they keep the current intended design for 10.1 for SPs, and I hope theyâll feel ashamed for farting out such a wet poop of a redesign
Yes eactly, couldent have said it better! Frost mages haveing like 3 blinks total, ice block, and instant icicles that can crit for 118k damage (been there) is no problem to blizzard, but shadowpriests? No! they have to get nerfed to the ground. Blizzard wonder why they get so much critisicm and hate, maybe start using your brains. In arenas i cant do anything except get interupted, feared, stunned and then MUTILATED by melee classes. LETS BE FOR REAL, how many casters do we see in 2v2s right now. I did prob 30 arenas yesterday for farming and i saw probably 6-7 casters, What classes? WARLOCK AND FROST MAGE. This is seriously embarassing for blizzard to be this bad at balancing. If updating classes damage everyday is what it takes, then that hows it going to be! Theres so much melee that world of warcraft is now world of meleecraft. Please blizzars fix

Exactly, our abilites are so weak. And the new tier set for SP in 10.1 is so horrible too. Forgot to say that!
Sp has never been good in 2s, itâs even more horrible now since people got so much self heal and Def CD usable in stun and on low cd.
Generally sp is good with some comb such as sp/rogue sp/mage sp/feral sp/ret sp/lock other things are playable but not that good (except if something is omega broken).

Pretty much this. SPs end up being âstrongâ because of utility they can bring in a team. But youâre completely team dependant and rarely can punish a bad player and kill them on your own. I donât like this philosophy. Iâd rather have less utility, but being able to punish enemies for grossly misplaying
Real issue is the amount of mobility spells and stuns that meele specs have. For example Warrior in Cata had 12 sec CD charge, 45 sec Heroic Leap, 1 Bladestorm and only 1 min. Throwdown. Oh and I forgot - Improved Harmstring. Current arms 2x Charge, ranged 30 sec Stormbolt, Heroic Leap, 2x Bladestorm, Spear if speced into.
Literally every meele besides Enha and WW has targetted single target stun. Some of them are also ranged. Meeles use them to stop your casts. You juke them and get almost no value because you get DR stunned. Jukes were waaaaaay more valuable on the past they are now.

I lose rounds, even when I successfully juke every single interrupt. Most melee can simply pve targets down, because theyâre too oppressive and have ms effects baked into their rotation, that you end up dying to their target dummy rotation eventually. It pisses me off to no end.
Speaking of warriors, mobility should nerfed, and bladestorm should be stoppable/stunnable
The issues is that till now Warrior had either double Charge or Stormbolt, they didnât have 2x Bladestorm and longer CD on Heroic Leap if Iâm right. DF made them the most mobile spec.
Heroic Leap if specced into it makes it 30sec CD with 70% movement speed for 3 sec afterwards.
2 charges with 17 sec recharge timer.
Storm Bolt is 30 sec cd with 20 yard range. 4sec stun (changed in 10.1 I believe to 3).
Hamstring(50% slow) 15 sec duration.
Avatar + Bladestorm 1.5min CD but both of them uses eachother if specced aswell, both removes roots and snares.
Just pointing out if ppl dont know, but they also have a 20% magic reduction that lasts for 5sec (spell reflection) on 25sec cd x)

Bleed damage is higher then SP dots and there is verry few classes that can remve bleed.
why should a dot clas suffer so when say a warrior MS kan hit 100k and their bleed cant me removed by sp?
Dispersion should have been reworked ages ago⊠and should not suffer from healing reductionsâŠ

SP is currently designed as a strong support spec, not as âtrue dpsâ per se. Therefore, the spec shines in 3s where it can complement the kit of a rogue, mage, warlock, or generally, a pure DPS that has a more limited support kit themselves.
In 2s SP doesnât work well with a healer due to no mortal strike effect and not enough pressure. The same applies to boomkin, enhance, and not long ago⊠ret 
If you really want to do 2s, the best would be with another dps, but with the current meta double dps is weak.
Next patch youâll have precognition for free, shorter interrupts overall, and a little less CC. Casting should be easier, at least in theory. They are pushing all casters to start casting again.
