I have no problem with voidform looks but I’d like for the base shadowform to have a reduced purple and “smoke” effect, as in it’s close to a waste to do a transmog on a Shadow Priest
Is there something that’d reduce that effect ?

There is a glyph that does that, called “Glyph of Shadow”.
There should be plenty on the AH.
Currently using it but I still feel like that purple shade destroy every attempt at a transmog
Just be glad you aren’t a Druid
One of the reason I don’t play druid to be honest. Although I kinda like the Kul Tiran skins, I’d get bored of them in a while.
Yeah, must be cold running around naked in animal form 24/7
Addon’s can’t realy change the spell visuals. They can only modify UI.
As for druid, you can always change back to humanoid form when you’re out of combat. I do it on my druid, I even sometimes use a mount instead of a travel form.
I do the same.
For normal traveling i like my mounts better than the druid forms
Me too. Also I’m resto affinity and use the heals a fair bit. I don’t mind too much tbh, was just poking fun. Been a Druid since classic so used to being in animal form.
Also I never got out of the habit of having to leave animal form to speak to a npc. Since in classic you couldn’t interact with npcs whilst in bear/cat form (presumably because Druids can’t speak while shapeshifted… in lore terms?)
But going off topic a bit sorry, but think the original question has been answered. Only the glyph can reduce the impact of the visual. Otherwise can stay out of shadow form when not required.
