Shadowform Visuals

Yep. Here is it again. I AM REQUESTING in the name of all Shadow Priests, give us Glyph opinion to remove Shadow Form Visuals at least out of combat. With all character apperance options, with all transmog options, Shadowform is really making it “hide it all behind Black silouette and purple farts”. I understand that many enjoy Shadowform visuals but I’ve met more that dislike it than like. We have option to “lesser” effects of Shadowform but in my opinion, it does not make it “better” in terms of Lessering it. We’ve been asking for this for years and with all the apperance options, now it is time to really consider this and having removed visuals as option. Thanks for reading this. Means a world.
Btw. Not native english speaker so sorry for not-so-perfect english.

I think they did that in legion but i hope this gets support i would love that

hope devs listens.

Coming back I noticed some classes can customize their features in barbershop (which is really good), and I think Shadowform could have it’s place there, with glyph or without allowing it.
I have some specific wishes for Shadowform glyph/barbershop.

Let shadow priests turn off the particle effect (dark cloud farts) if they want to.
And let them turn off shadowform visual completely, or change its intensity.

Having remade my priest in MoP remix, I feel that shadowform visual deters me more than it attracts to the class. The way it’s done, the clunky visual of the cloud, it looks a bit outdated. Even with maximum particle intensity, I leave behind separate clouds when mounted and that alone makes me wonder if I should have rolled a warlock instead.
It really shouldn’t be the way it is now.

Would be cool to add a glyph like you mentioned. Like how worgen pop onto form in combat, for shadow to pop in shadow when entering combat.

Only thing i could see happening is rogues seing a window to sap, but I still like the idea

I think a big reason they don’t is because you need to know who you’re fighting in pvp. All classes have a tell-tale sign of what spec they are, be it a visual or specific spell cast.

This can easily be remedied by just not allowing the glyph that removes shadow form to take effect in pvp scenarios.

Acknowledged the problem and provided an easy solution in the same Post. Damn, Based!

I actually remember a Thread from a decade ago where I said the same thing. Why not letting the glyph only work in PvE. Everyone would be happy.

The sad truth though is, Blizzard doesnt care about things like that, since there is no consequence of them not doing anything. What will we players do, not play the game because of this? Doubtful.
