I am the only one who don’t like this spell ?
What i like the DH tank is healing ourself with souls fragments and more you have taken damage, more you gonna heal yourself.
So here what spell i loved in DH tank and why it’s my favorite tank nowaday in BFA :
- Souls barrier : consumme all fragment , more you have consummed more it’s powerfull . I loved that spell in BFA because if you gonna take a huge hit, you can burst up your healing and getting shield the time you making back a stock of souls fragments.
- Soul cleave : i may be weird but this is a ability i kinda like since it only consumme 2 fragments to not cosumme all while it deal damage to all target in front of you.
- Soulsmonger : Damn i can’t explain how i love this, like it give sense to DH if it don’t take damage, it allow to still consumme fragment for shield. I liked that.
- immolation / fallout / infernal armor : i loved how much you pulled, how much you could heal yourself with that ability ( if you talen a very huge pack, it could heal yourself full, OP ? Not since you got a limitation of your health
). I loved that spell very much and that systems. - Gluttonery / vision of perfection : i kinda loved too getting a tiny version of meta in pack of mobs and when i needed a urgent button i could press my real metamorph to save myself. These talent and essence make me set up DH tank my main tank.
Well now you ask yourself : " Why that title then 
? "
Well because in shadowland Fel devastation was a talent in BFA that will become a baseline spell and DH tank will be very focused on it. And a lot of spell talent ( like Gluttonery and Soulmonger ) will dissapear in Shadowland because of Fel Devastation Baseline that make some talent based on it.
I will explain why i don’t like fel devastation in BFA and Shadowland :
- Channeling spell : you can’t move when using it, on jumping or even generating souls fragments or consumming it.
- Cooldown : it’s 45 seconds, seems too long in my eyes.
- Damage in a cone for only 20 yard.
- Cost 50 fury : when even free in BFA that spell was not that much attractive, here it gonna get a cost, and i don’t feel more attracted to it since 50 is quite a lot.
- Demonic replace Gluttonery : i think they want to make Fel Devastation like Havoc Demon Hunter with Eye beam. But i will prefer Demonic be relly on an another spell than Fel devastation. I understand the issue of RNG with Gluttonery, but it proc often and it was not defined by 45 sec and could proc more often, it was fun.
This is the reason why i fear Fel Devastation isn’t good for my gameplay. And why i don’t like it.
I already lost my main tank as warrior in Legion -> BFA. I don’t want to loose it with my DH for BFA -> Shadowland. It’s my only motivation to PvE 
Am i the only one who don’t like it ?
