Shadowlands Adventures Table

I was wondering is there some clear indication that mission will be successful or not like percentage chance and counters from the last expansions?

And on what should I focus to have more change to win, currently my strategy is to put tanks and companions in from row with ranged DPS in the back?

I am having problem with completing missions with elite mobs (maybe I am not enough high level to do them but without some indication I am just wasting time to try to do missions like them)

There’s no clear indication on any of it. Click stuff and hope for the best.

Eventually, Wowhead will pick up Blizzard’s slack again.

Sadly it is hit or miss, ive completed adventures which seemed too hard for me, and failed those which looked trivial.

There isn’t, but you can guess by looking at health and attack power.

Also some companions need to be positioned in certain slots, because their skills effect nearby troops.

I miss the success chance percentage thing so much! Not really enjoying this new mission table and the randomness of ā€œwill it succeed or fail again?ā€ I’m curious about who wanted the mission table to be complex, to me it just seems like they’ve made it more annoying for no benefit, so I’d be interested to hear the other side.

It’s not even complex or anything that you have to calculate and do maths yourself. It’s random and the hp/dmg numbers are pointless because most followers/mobs have their own skills and abilities with a cd that don’t affect those numbers pretty sure.

I’ve failed trivial missions with overleveled followers, multiple times.
Also my guys have 600ish hp yet my healer wastes her turn healing 13 hp to an ally. Wtf is this? Maybe that’s why i’m losing because my healer is a waste of a slot.

Anyone else ā€˜struggling’? Venthyr btw.

I’ve even seen one mission with a sign ! which probably means it’s a quest, but i failed to do it. It will probably return in some rotation. In my opinion, the missions in legion and bfa were much better, because you could see what your chances were and that’s it. Now this is too random. Who knows, maybe some addon will come out to help with that.

Ditto, Please implement this rng aspect.

I’m not a fan of the new adventure table but I mash my way through it. There seems to be no rhyme nor reason as to why I sometimes succeed and fail at other times. So I just keep going, levelling up my companions.

I like new mission table.

at least now i gotta plan some stuff instead of just auto-repeating things like a bot

I just wish someone would’ve told me you can place troops multiple times… I didn’t do missions for like 3 days because every single one of them was too hard for me… After finding out you have infinite troops, everything became a lot easier :joy:

The biggest complaint about new adventure system is the anima price to heal, and time that is needed to recover, it’s huge downside.

Not really random though. If your team has more hp and attack than the enemy team that’s a 100% win.

You can also increase the chance of winning by placing the lower hp but higher dps ranged troop/healer companion in the last row so your healer won’t get nuked before it can heal your team, while placing the other companion in the first row with 2 melee lower dps but higher hp troops who can tank more hits, therefore less likely to die before your companion’s heal goes off.

Many were caught out by this, I don’t think it’s explained very well :frowning:

Just like many didn’t realise you could get a second companion from Torghast.

Like me, how do i get second companion from Torghast? Is it from concrete layer/floor?

I think it’s random. Got mine from layer 3.

Last boss or mid run?

Mid run. It’s like one of the quest mobs trapped in a cage.
