Shadowlands complete collection

So holidays are coming , and one of my friends recently bought a decent pc , and he always wanted to try wow , so I wanted to buy him the complete collection , like previous expansions had , but when I tried searching for it I couldn’t find it anywhere , the few links that I found on forums (one was even from a blue post) resulted in me ending up in the shop page with an error message saying that it couldn’t find the item… so yeah… help ?

The Complete Collection has been removed since BfA has been added to the base game, which you only need to add gametime to play.

If you want to you can buy the Shadowlands Epic edition which includes gametime. But since he’s new to WoW I suggest him to play the free trial first and try out everything up to level 20 and if he still wants to continue to play WoW he can always add gametime and experience so much content up to the BfA expansion!

Bfa , but what about all the previous expansions and their features ? And I don’t want him to try the trial , cause it’s supposed to be a “gift” that he doesn’t know about , what if he tried and just bought for himself , that would ruin it xD , so basically if I gifted him shadowlands (any version) he would get all the previous expansions ?

All previous expansions up to BfA is free with the base game which you only need gametime for.

So you can gift him gametime, then he can just play TBC, WOTLK, Cata, MoP, WoD, Legion, BfA after doing the Exile’s Reach (new beginner tutorial)

You could just buy him some gametime, which will allow him to level up to 50.

Only the epic version of Shadowlands contains gametime, the others don’t contain any gametime.

Thank you all for the answers gonna buy him the epic version then :stuck_out_tongue:
