Few curiosities about specifically the entry (or entries) of how it is possible to get into the Shadowlands, from a mortal pov.
In the meeting cutscene between Shadowlands covenant leaders, it is stated that all mortals are going to play a part in turning the tides against the Maw and will choose a covenant to support.
I’m specifically curious on how these mortals are going to get in.

Does that mean every baker, hobo, and toddler will have to go to the Shadowlands and do Covenant campaigns? 
Behold my mighty toddler army! Ready the temper tantrums, the expensive shoes which were dropped into a toilet, and the shirts with weird ketchup stains on them!
On a more serious note, my guess would be that it could be a wartime production thing, where every mortal is expected to work toward supporting the campaign.
