Shadowlands mounts from covenants

Will be mounts like transmog restricted to use by character with specific covenant?

Probably will be, but if that’s the case they will probably get rid of the restriction after Shadowlands.

But I guess if people can get them on Beta we could see if there is a restriction.

But if yes that mean less content, why I shoud play a game where I cannot use things that I obtain. For example I will get my bis gear probably 1-2 weeks after release and what next? Two months waiting for raid without any content?
I always get max level in 1-3 days after release so I will be bored like over half of my friends who also have done everything in bfa in first month.

You can’t use your class hall mount and transmog with another class, so I guess this will work the same way.

Thats why I don’t have class mounts, and I never done class halsl for other characters than my main.

Yeah, I get you. But it’s very likely that the covenants work the same way as class halls, and lore-wise it wouldn’t make sense for you to use something from the covenant you don’t belong to.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to be able to get all the stuff on Uruk and be able to use it regardless of the covenant, but I don’t think they’ll let us.

In lore-wise this game have no sense. There are too much lore holes. Why even pandarens fighting after Pandaria. Why orcs and humans don’t understand themself when they talk in cinematics. Why Alliance can use brontosaur mount if they are not friends of Zandalari? This all have no sense.
So mount, transmogs, toys, pets will have no sense too.

It could have easily been rewards for reputations/renown with each covenant. This is an issue of game system being badly designed around the, not the lore itself.

Just add item on exalted reputation that allow easy change covenant withotu losing anything and you will work as a spy.

tbh the whole “paying for stuff u only Experience parts of”… is Every expansion.

When you main a Class, you’re effectively Missing out on 11 Other classes Gameplay.
If u didnt play a Warlock in MoP u lost out of the green fire Quest line.
If u didnt play all 12 classes back in Legion u’ve lost out on uptoo 11 Campaigns 11 Mounts and 11 Titles.
If u dont PvP u effectively lose all Experience of Arenas and BGs they bring to the game.
If u dont Mythic Raid, your Paying for a Entire mythic Tier you’ll never see.

the list is Endless, the point is… they release a bundle of content, which has Something in it for everyone. there is a VERY low amount of players in this game who have actually Played within Every Piece of content dropped each expansion and you can simply Cut off these parts of the game and wouldnt effect you in the slightest.

Convenant Aesthetics and Mounts are the same, there Just that thing the game has which you as a Player Have to go out of your way to experience fully, some will some wont.

but you will find thjat after SL they’ll remove the logs on the transmogs on convenant gear and Mounts… and if u did it as a Optional Task, you’ll have it all in the following expansions.

games gonna have things which make u want to create Alts.

Its called having Good Replayability, It gives the Casual Audience a Goal to reach which increases their investment and being Alt friendly.

No reason to do other covenant if rewards are only on that one character that have covenant.

I like the idea of not being able to unlock everything, because whats the point of paladin/warlock having a mount if everyone could unlock it.

I like the choice to be honest. I like having to pick, to see someone on a mount and go “That guy went Venthyr as a paladin!? EUGH!” The idea of having an identity, to me, is cool. I will be going Fae-cov, damn the min-max issues, because I think it will suit my night elf hunter.

I can unlock everything, but I cannot use it so why I shoud unlock it?

Unlocking everything would mean you are switching the covenant. Switching a covenant to unlock other covenant items was not the reason they gave possibility to switch covenant.

But the only thing I need is to use covenant things on any character after unlocking them. I’m playing for cosmetic not for money like competetive players.
