Since Blizz is redesigning pvp gearing in Shadowlands I thought I’d share an idea I had for it and hear what you all think of it!
It might be an unpopular opinion, but remove the competitive element from gearing, i.e. don’t lock gear behind rating.
What I’m thinking is instead that gear is purchasable as has been implemented, but instead of being capped by rating it instead costs increasingly much conquest. However, higher rating should also yield higher conquest.
Very basic idea, nothing I’ve put a great deal of thought into, but it would feel less daunting entering mid-season/low-geared, etc…
What are your thoughts on the matter?
