Everything that needed to be said about the pvp vendors in Shadowlands, have been said by Stoopz in this video.
Don’t stop listening, be better. Give us pvp stat or every stat options for each pvp piece. Otherwise, PvP players will once again be forced into mindless PvE grind. Cata to wod PvP gearing system was perfect. You changed it and made many players quit.
Fix it.

I feel like it’s popular nowadays to “hate” or be “the boss” of Blizzard, but noone of you are. It’s not that blizz shouldn’t listen to anyone, but it should be up to them what they do. Think back, original game was created without caring about what fans would say, TBC too, they created the game behind closed doors and it was good.
So the idea that fans and players dictates every little detail about the game is just bad, because then the game would have no direction. At some point you have to accept compromise for the game to be Unique. It can’t be unique if it’s a product of 100,000 players, as it would result into a grey piece of below-average game without identity 4 sure.
You can share your ideas, etc. But don’t expect and please don’t act like you run Blizzard company.so sometimes please be also grateful for something, not just spitting about every little detail that crushes your fixated idea what the game should be. It evolves - and I believe it would be better if Blizz was left alone in the development. As when too many people are involved, it usually end up really bad. (or it results into not Warcraft game but some sort of some game without any magic in it).

Because MoP and WoD didn’t see huge drop offs.
pvp vendors are big garbage , it will be like pvp gear will not be usefull outside of pvp or will be to usefull even for pve , and from what i know blizzard is looking that u can go pvp with any gear and that pvp gear is usefull in pve to

So I just wasted 6min watching a guy complain about BFA without saying anything about vendors beyond “No PvP stat”… That’s it ?
Sorry but that’s useless. Haven’t heard of PvP vendors since their initial PH implementation in the alpha and… Nothing about that ?
Hell, I don’t even know if Conduits or Legendaries will be obtainable in PvP. Blizz said there would be multiple sources to not repeat the essence issues butI haven’t seen it implemented yet.
So I hope they are but that’s exactly what a “SL PvP gearing” video should talk about, not how many corruption sets he had in BFA ffs
Total waste of time and / or clickbait.

Basically that’s that a total clickbait and rip off, no info whatsoever…
Yeah, that is what people are not understanding.
The idea is that gear is gear and PVP and PVE are both viable paths for gearing up.
That is why there is only one weekly chest, which PVP participation contributes to, not just M+ anymore.
I loved MoP but having a lower item level set for PVP sucked.
And for PVE it sucked having to weed through the PVP geared people, because PVP gear was not that great for it’s ilvl in terms of pure damage.
I think that statement is a little misleading. They have merged the two separate weekly chests into one and included raiding would be a fairer representation of the change IMO.
The PvP community seems very mixed when it comes to a PvP stat. My personal preference is separate gear because then I’m never forced to do the content I don’t enjoy. We have seen lots of complaints in BfA about PvPers being forced into PvE to gear. There will always be some that do all the content regardless :).

Your comment is a big miss mate, there’s no point in PvP vendor if it doesn’t sell PvP specific gear, or if it’s going to be ignored due to mythic+ giving better gear. Whole problem with PvP vendors was being forced into mythic+ to gear, which won’t change if PvP vendor sells underwhelming gear for PvP.
I agree strongly on this, I started in late tbc and wotlk so resilience is what I’m used to, and it was perfect, as I started with PvP and could actually compete with those mythical raiders that I was hearing about. And then after I got into raiding and stuff, I still had a reason to do PvP, which was extra content, to get some PvP gear.

That is exactly what I said, no? Excluding the addition of them adding raiding.

Then I’m sorry I misunderstood your comment
I’m going to blame the heat!!! I’m dying!!
It will still be better than what we have now, since with some rating couple of items are bis for pvp in bfa too…but you cannot realy aim them…nor say to yourself that “ok lets save for a trophy” …because thats like 4 month grind.
People that don’t understand why PvP specific gear is the only way to go, either with an increased Ilvl in pvp combats or with pvp stats, are a joke and shouldn’t be allowed to even talk on the matter.
I see pvpers mixed about pvp stat but competitively, there’s no debate, that’s what needs to happen ( or ilvl increase like in wod) or with simply letting pvp players choose what stats they want to buy at the vendors.

You mean the same way pve gear is usefull for both pve and pvp throughout legion and bfa and SL clearly. Pvp gear wasn’t even useful in pvp in Legion and bfa, nevermind in pve. Pve gear should never be the best gear for pvp, btu here we are, you aren’t viable in pvp unless you have pve gear. I only pvp and all my gear is from pve only, Jesus…

Personally the WoD system was flawless, no arbitrary pvp stat taking away stat budget from items (And making specs reliant on stats play worse). Then three tiers of gear, crafted, honour, conquest.
I think the main reason some disliked WoD pvp gear progression was a lack of awareness of the crafted pvp gear. You could get a full set, including set bonuses, before even stepping foot into pvp if you knew it existed, and it really did serve as a strong benchmark for any player going into pvp (Kinda like templates but more freedom). Bliz need to bring back the WoD system but also expand the crafted pvp gear to include weapons, so that a new player can cobble something effective together to begin farming BGs for their honour gear.

WoD brought a lot of pruning, and i think in pve it was very low content. but in PvP, despite the start of pruning (rip recklessness) it was good. Legion brought the removal of pvp vendors, and the new class design that is god awful I deeply miss wod.

I just miss being able to queue BGs on any of my characters and have actual genuine fun. The quality of games / number of none games was also so much better back then because everyone had a gear progression path and they were able to quickly be effective.
Despite having some of the best PvP gear possible on this priest I don’t like queueing BGs, because the disparity between gear people often have just makes so many matches none games…
My only decent 120 is my horde rogue with 451 ilvl, it’s crazy to see with a difference of just 20 ilvl, i’m missing 200k hp and ofc no corruptions.
I have to level 20 more characters just in case shadowlands is good enough and pvp frienldy for more to play everything like I did in mop and wod.

I never understood why they ditched the WoD system in Legion. Compared to other systems it never has gotten much critic.
But having no difference between PvE and PvP gear must have reduced the number of players doing rnd BGs by a good amount.
One thing I noticed in Legion and BfA in the times I did rnd BGs was, that after around 1-2 weeks you already know around half of your group. Something that never happened before. It really feels like it’s just a small group of people still doing BGs on Alliance side.
And atleast 2-3 are more or less afk, because there’s no reason to try to win, except you need a few marks of honour for mog or the 10 fish/herbs you get for a win
