Dont care who we were supposed to kill in that quest but blueballing the players like that is a d**k move.
Feels like Maw of Souls vs Helya. The victory just feels like a “meh”.

But i find it hard to dislike either of them when the alternative is as bland and unappealing as the idiot on the Stormwind throne.
At least with him and Sylvanas I can always be sure to find action and controversy behind every door.

Most likely a throwback to how he used to be pre-cata. Anybody who did the quest to kill him very early on remembers he was kind of a world boss.
