[Shadowlands SPOILERS] Customizations

Please. They’re shown as upright in most of the art they’ve appeared in. The worgen comics too I’m pretty sure. Genn is upright or nearly upright in cinematics. Female worgen are upright.

Fun fact: The male worgen model when ripped from the game files, in its default unanimated pose, is perfectly upright. The hunch isn’t built into the model at all like with the original orc posture or tauren.

The male worgen being hunched over is purely an animation. It was would still need work to get it upright, then ensure it doesn’t break any other animations, but arguably it would be less work than upright orcs.

You’ll have to wait 5 more years, like Orcs :stuck_out_tongue:

I actually disagree with this, I think the fact the two forms are correlated is really cool.

BUT I would limit it to where it makes sense, like hair/fur color, maybe eye color. Hair/beard style should not be linked, for example. I would keep faces linked too, but maybe make the worgen and human faces like, actually resemble a bit more; I think that would be a lot of fun.

New markings for night elves, as well as the ability to choose hair color and marking color independently. Also the ability to choose eye color instead of it being determined by gender, which is not supported by lore.

I would actually love markings for males or Druidic tattoo’s!!

Perhaps they can add animal-like things to, akin to Malfurion, or perhaps limited to horns?(for males instead of markings?)

As would I. Part of Lintian’s motivation for erasing her markings was that men don’t get them, and that’s unfair.

I’d like belves to get blue eyes and tattoo options. Also an option to join the Alliance. And a new racial mount.
Just give me my damn High Elves.

ACKSHUALLY-…! We do get to see Maiev without her armor in Legion, when we rescue her alongside Jarod Shadowsong.

Edit: Ugh, now I see the very next posts already mentioning this…

Honestly, won’t most of these customizations just be eye colours in consistent fashion? RPers can dream big, I guess but let’s be pessimistically realistic.

I’d definitely like silver eyes for my male nelf, he’s not supposed to be special enough for amber eyes.

-I am glad to see that humans receives curly hair. Now that they have the texture for it I hope we’ll see some more.
-I hope that the male humans receives some sharper beards (like the kultirans) other than that huge pine cone the currently have.
-Bone piercings for trolls and maybe a necklace like the mag’har. Propper dreadlocks, and beards for males.
-As others have said, black hair, switched eyecolors and long beards for nelves.
-I would like to se bangs on female tauren! Like, long bangs that cover their eyes like those highland cattles. Also, feathery ornaments for for regular tauren.
-Since they’ve started to add necklaces to newer races as a feature option, I wonder if gnomes could receive a pair of glasses. Just wishful thinking. Oh you know what! Give them a manbun! I want gnomes to embrace hipster culture.
“Yeah, I’m from Gnomeregan. It’s so underground you probably never heard of it.”

The ones we’ve seen so far are hairstyles, tattoos, beards and faces… So no?

Beyond that, I mean. I’m delighted to finally get forsaken without the goofy bones sticking through platemail and rupturing sleeves.

Beards for trolls.

Nothing else. Just that.

They said that eye colour is on the list, but for some races things like jewelery, skin and tail options are on the cards.
Be less pessimistic, don’t worry let the levy run dry Levey.

Runic tattoos for belfs.

I find that pessimism is realism, and being proven correct repeatedly is one of my few joys in life.

Ew. Get over yourself.

Tbf they never should’ve linked Amber ryes to Druidic magics anyways.

It should’ve stayed special and rare for only the biggest and greatest magic-users of their society(Fandral, Mordent, etc)

Horns should’ve stayed as a sign of great Druidic-potential with Malfurion being the sole case where he gained both afterwards instead of being born with it.

Also I agree with the black hair; lorewise Kaldorei have always been capable of having it anyways! I would love for them to add either silvery hair or that extremely white the Nightborne got to!
