It’s amazing what practices people will defend, and thus send the signal what practices publishers can get away with.

After looking into this patch more thoroughly, it all just seems like more season 1 with a new raid? Am i missing something? All the problems still exist. Timegated catch up mechanics. Currency on currency on more currency. No Soul Ash catch up. More Maw and Boreghast. Massive Anima grinds. Random conduit upgrades?? Grind grind grind until your eyeballs burn out of your skull. What am I missing here?

Not even excited tbh, still hate the theme of shadowlands.
is it bad to say id prefer if they did a wod and cut quickly to the next expansion?

I play wow but I also try other games 
I don’t see where the problem is. I find it pleasant to try a game that I look forward to a month in advance, especially in summer when I have a few more hours free. If this will also help developers make a better title, I’m happy about it

It doesn’t matter, mate. Basically, you bought a game knowing full well it will come out buggy and you’ll have to wait a month for a patch. Preordering digital games is simply stupid.

You can use alts to increase your mains soul ash
With the stuff they are doing gem wise etc, it will probably burn out those M+ or raiders who have stuck around and as for casual players, they’ve only about three weeks of story content.

The poster was correct in that M+ is not casual content.
You can have someone who only dabbles in M+ content and you can also have someone who is really into it. who goes for hundreds of M15s~M20s a week or more.
Same goes for people who focus on the casual themed content of the game.
So being a casual does not always mean you log in for 30 mins then don’t come back until next week.

Most people who call themselves casual are actually semi-hardcore or even downright hardcore players.
