Shadowlands upgrade didn't work

So I paid for the heroic upgrade but I have no character boost available and no mount quest/mail in game. I’ve created a new character, logged in and out but the game still tells me I need to “upgrade”. Ticket wait time says 12 days, I created it 2 days ago so I’m guessing that I won’t be accessing Shadowlands at the same time as everybody else. Has anybody had a similar issue?

My account online also shows that I last subbed in February. I actually came back to the game a couple months ago and can log in and play as normal because I definitely have a subscription.
This is very strange

It can take up to 24 hours for upgrades to be processed.

If its been longer than 24 hours, then you need to check your account management to see the status of it. If the upgrade doesn’t show there, then the upgrade most likely failed.

The most common reason for such failures is that your banking institution denied the transaction, and any withdrawn monies will be returned to you in a few banking days. But for a definitive reason, you’d need to reach out to Blizzard support via a ticket, they can’t discuss payment issues over a forum.

Yeah It’s been 4 days or so since I upgraded, and without going into too much detail of what’s in my account, suffice to say that I have more than enough money and my bank sends me a text if a payment is denied but I haven’t heard a peep from them.

Strangely enough even though the cost was supposed to be £49.99 Blizzard only actually took something like £41 from my account so I’m hesitant to buy another upgrade until I hear back on my ticket in case the same thing happens again and I’m left over £80 with no game to play.

I can see that you have a ticket already up for it, which should be replied soon.

It seems that your purchase was for the US region/version of the game, which explains why you cannot see it on your EU WoW game. You can see your transactions in here, your Shadowlands purchase will show up if you select Americas instead of Europe in the drop down menu, on the right side of the page.

Well now it makes sense why only £41 was taken from my account… I literally clicked “upgrade” while in game so I have no idea why it would have switched to US region as I’ve never played on the US servers?

I know you can’t do anything from your side but are you able to confirm if they will be able to switch (if I pay the difference) or refund the transaction so that I can buy it on the EU servers?

I don’t believe they can switch regions , what they will probably do is refund the transaction, so that you can buy it on the correct region. Just…

Be careful when re-buying it. For some reason the store LOVES to try and redirect people to the US region.
