Shadowlands user score on metacritic 3.6 / 10!

Dunno what you’re all talking about, I’m so hyped for SL classic in 10 years, it’s gonna be hugeeee.

I enjoyed MoP and BFA, I didn’t play much of Cata but what I did I enjoyed.

So that leaves 2.

Your selection is just personal taste. If you take into consideration I quit during Wotlk, you could put that in the bad pile as well.

Well, I never thought I’d see the day somebody would ever say that.

You don’t say.

Mop, wod, shadowlands, bfa, half of cata. That’s 4.5

You would need to conduct a trend analysis that would compare income and sub numbers to claim that.

Or you can just make assumptions. I personally will assume that 1 or 2 million people buying a few extra tokens will not compensate for the lack of 10-13 million people’s sub money.

death cannot be stopped! sorry couldn’t help it

everyone’s is xD

so is this

I have fond memories of my mage and rogue as well. BFA had its quirks but I still liked it enough to play it.

Very few people would admit liking an “unpopular expansion”. Go ahead…try making a post about how BFA or Cata where the best expansions for somebody personally.
99% of the responses would be:
Shill
White knight
Blind
UTroLLz?

Bashing any expansion = WoW forums standard and its “cool” to do so.
Praising an expansion…especially a less popular one = Troll or shill

WoD and Shadowlands, that’s 2.

The first half of Cata was absolutely fantastic. Perfectly tuned heroic dungeons, interesting raids, nice levelling content. Shame the Wrathbabies wanted everything nerfing to the ground.

Can’t say I’ve ever cared much for the opinions of forum goers. I’ve seen enough of them in my time, some people here still say crap along the lines of “lol u only hated mop because lolpandas”. As if every other criticism I have of that awful expansion are suddenly invalid.

I am a wrathbaby and I didn’t like the idea either. Although…I started out in 2.4 so I am late late TBC…baby I guess? :baby:

How nice. An independent thought. Those are rare here. Most of the forums are governed by the hive mind. Either you agree with it or… get burned with “flags of dislike” for your blasphemy.

but you still think its good enough and dont let others tell you what you like to play! good for you! XD

I guess I just like this game more than you then

Arguably more of a chore considering all the unlockable things (allied races for example and flying) tied to rep grinds.
BFA was a hot steaming mess. Legion is the only expansion since WoD that actually has come close to being decent. WoD was basically SL 0.5 with the beginnings of gameification a la garrison.

“Haha yet you still participate in society”
not an argument.

Depends, I like the base game. I’m just not overly fond of the different flavour’s they’ve added over the years.

Not really. The term Wrathbaby represents people who only ever knew the “go go go” style of WoTLK content, where characters have infinite mana, infinite threat and are gods amungst peasants.

Pre-nerf Cata heroics meant people actually had to know boss mechanics and had to handle trash with care, instead of brainlessly plowing through everything like we did in the entirity of Wrath.

I still rate Wrath as one of the good expansions, the content was a great deal of fun. But the mindset it gave to the average player was just irrepairable.

oh boy, which one was that? WoD? BfA? Shadowlands?

Blizz blatantly lied to us by saying the new zone won’t include stuff that gives player power. I was looking forward to be able to just chill and do the content in the new zone at my own pace. But if it goes live the way it is on the PTR, I’ll have to grind daily quests, every day, for a whole month so that I can get the 2nd legendary and progress in raids and M+.

Blizz listened to feedback, gave us hope, but then decided to troll us. That Metacritic user score is fully justified.

I’m sure the raid will be fun and I’ll also start doing Tazavesh since it will be in the M+ dungeon set. But the first 4 weeks will be an incredibly frustrating chore. Even if that new zone actually has fun stuff, it won’t feel fun if I’m forced to do daily it after interval training and 8-9 hours of my job.

there has not been 10-13 million in years why would you use those numbers when wow lost 5 million in wod alone and not all of those even came back for legion at best i would assume wow has 900k subs and the tokens outweight 900k world of warcraft is currently like the less money making product that Activision-Blizzard has

and even those are looking at the other side of the fence due to blizzard’s endless systems

Yes! And I’m jumping on the flight today!

Well if I can only name 2 bad expansions and including the one I’m referring to in that post, and the OP is naming 4.5… then, it speaks for itself.

Sigh, read the thread.
