Yea it’s bugged, I can’t shadowmeld spells like death coil like you could in 2008 WotLK.

I found it too. It has problem. In the SM working agains incoming spells and SM working as vanish. I try it with 100 mobs. Doesn’t take me out of the combat. This spell must be the OP spell for nightelf druid but now must of the time it didnt work. There is simple macro u can use it and with 2x pressure on key u will instantly SM and stealth. It work 100% when out of combat but must of the time when i combat it doesn’t work i try in manually its doesn’t work again.

Yes it is broken. When shadowmelding, the opponent can continue casting his spell even without a target. The spell then proceeds to fire - again, without a target whilst i am in shadowmeld.
Look at pvp videos from 2010 and shadowmeld clearly breaks the opponents cast.

The same bug happen with Vanish and Cloak of Shadow, it’s not specific to Shadowmeld, it’s a consequence of how spell batching was changed.
Previously, you could use theses spell in reaction. Now you can’t, you have to preshot before the cast end. This is so dumb, like if Elemental Shaman launch a bolt on me, If I press Cloak Of Shadow while the bolt is traveling, I don’t get any immunity. I can’t tell you how many time I died in Cloak of Shadow.
This is the same with Vanish and Shadowmeld, if you press it on reaction to counter something, this simply doesn’t work anymore since WOTLK. You have to press it before the ennemy cast end, meaning that you have a very small window to do it.

I began to notice that when fear, cyclone, sheep are cast for me, shadowmeld does not reset castes and I get control while in stealth
