Shaman Ghost Forms Do I Need A Glyph Each Time Of Different Form?

Just wondering if I use the spectral raptor glyph for my ghost wolf, then use the spectral vulpine glyph or spectral lupine.
Is it classed as a learned ability and can swap forms as you please, or need a new glyph to go back to a previous ghost wolf form e.g. the raptor from vulpine?

Glyphs can only be used one at the time, unlike tomes that teaches you a different version of the same spell like Tome of Hex.
So if you already have one and use another it will replace it.
Though you can have for example spectral raptor for enhancement and spectral lupine for elemental. Since glyphs are bound to the specialisation.

Quoting for truth. You cannot unfortunately swap at will. The only way is to re-glyph it or remove the glyph with vanishing powder.

Especially this part. So you can have Raptor as Enchancement and Lupine as Elemental and Ghost Wolf as Resto. In some ways that’s a good thing, but if you want Lupine on all, you have to buy 3 glyphs and apply one whilst in each specialization.

Thanks, I was wondering if once learned you could go in your spell book, say something like rogues can choose which posion although that’s not learned by glyphs.
Or added to the barbers shop.
Was it not in Wrath of the Lich King you could bring glyphs learned and choose?

This is what should have been done in the first place, but apparently they thought of this too late or they were too lazy to do it. Druids have this solution done phenomenaly. Want to switch the appearance of one of your shapeshifts? No problem, just go to the barber and voila, you got it. Shamans should have this aswell.

Even though I have a druid I think druids seem to get a lot of love from Blizzard, although I had to buy a glyph one time to get back to cheetah form from a stag, but goodness know the cat travel form is now with a tail end like a rattlesnake.

This got changed in pre-patch of SL. Barber will fix this now, glyphs got removed.

Yeah I don’t like it aswell, and never use it. You should use the Night fae runestags for travel form, IMO it looks the best.

I really hope that the Dragonflight will brings us some cool Shaman (and other classes, too but kinda cheering for Shamans the most) customizations for ghost wolf form and beside that I would really like to see customizations for elementals.
