The most poorly-designed part of one of the lengthiest, most tedious questlines around. I think only reputation grinds and the AQ sceptre questline compare. Only drops from mobs that share a spawn table with every other mob in the area, has something like a 5-10% droprate at best. A low drop chance, on a low spawn rate mob, that every shaman in the area wants to obtain, and you need 10.
This makes the warlock meta quest feel like “Kill 6 boars”.
yep thats the DEV team, don’t care about fun… only how much time you play, so they come up whit this kind of creativity less garbage! and half made aswell !

haha it was absolutly mental. did it pre-work at like 3am-6am (twice) and it still was a struggle. but… getting it in the end was feeling great

But the raid numbers are out, Enhancement shaman is nearly doing as much damage as a tank warlock, and is 2nd bottom DPS in the game (Only frost mage is below it).
So all that grind and farm… just to be out dps by a tank 
The class is so busted, “Lava Lash” - just remove it, people go mealstrom into procs for lava burst and back to the “RNG” class. Shamans are not even using windfury anymore as its proven better dps with Rockbiter… In sod if you play enhancement you dont use windfury and rely on trying to cram enhancement with elemental skills on a pure RNG basis… to come 2nd bottom dps

Nah the real play is to suck it up and tank. They’re not fixing enhance dps, but at least it’s a fantastic tank.
… Phase 3 it will drop off massively.
Mail gear is past lvl 40 is Agility based for hunters. Shaman dont get anything from Agility (minor dodge and crit like any other class)
but nothing to support the tank, so the tank role will decrease in strength, litterly, as Mail items with primary strength drop less and less, and shaman tank relys on block and strength to increase the amount blocked (Talent for it, rune is for block+mana regen) it all works together, but even that will scale down in comparison to others.
Enhancement was an iconic meme for pvp in WoW classic. its been utterly gutted out, not too sure why, but… oh well. Reroll hunter and Enjoy the phase hype train, phase 1 was pet hype, now its melee Hype hunters. Its a little annoying we pay a fee to this game and are ignored.
yeah and i remember all the non-shamans or smooth brain shamans were like “oh no, its going to be so strong, dont worry, windfury will do 800 dps”, “why u complain its so op”. then they buffed storm strike and its still garbo dps, with the changes from today patch shamans dps is gona be like 30-40% higher I think. so Mid tier dps. But only with dw. 2H is gona be like 20% better. Still not better than a melee hunter. So remember folks, always play the classes the devs play, and dont play classes that put all points into an actual melee talent tree, play ranged classes to be top melee dps. #blizzard logic.
