Shaman or Paladin for PvP?

So hello all, it’s been a minute since I stepped into WoW, last time was Shadowlands and I mained different classes then.

I loved shaman in Season of Discovery, and I seen some gameplay for it in retail, I usually main PVP gameplay but dabble in pve sometimes.

Question, how good is shaman in PvP battlegrounds and arena, overall? Both enhance and elemental.

Am I able to swap Ele and enhance gear easily or you have to commit?

And finally, I’m tossing the idea of shaman and paladin to main, help me decide :heart:

Ret , enhance is a troll gimick close to always at bottom dps in arena pvp especially against casters
