Been thinking about rolling a Horde shammy for pvp and I need some racial advice.
I notice that Tauren have the crit dam and stun which is always beneficial but I love the look of the Zandalari and was wondering if the 5% speed buff they get stacks with ghost wolf. Surely that has some benefit?
Do the racials even matter that much?
All movement speed stacks, even the once from enchants. I personally like Orcs, both regular and Mag’har. With orc you get 1% pet dmg which is not much, but 20% less duration on stuns, it doesnt stack with pvp trinket set bonus but its always something, where as Mag’har have 10% less dmg on poisons, diseases and bleeds, which comes in handy.
Dwarf or Dark Iron Dwarf, there are no other races available to play.
Orc all the way, shamans are most vunerable in a CC as we can’t use our wall. Orcs limit the time in a stun, works with the mail pvp crafted gear too.
Bloodfury can be binded with your pvp trinket to give our cooldowns an extra kick, also the extra damage from pets works with our elementals/wolves. Although it’s not much.
Pvp trinket set bonus gives you -10% on stuns and mail crafted boots give you -5% on stuns, so orc racial only gives you -5% duration on stuns (they don’t stuck).
Orc is probably one of the worst racials now… 5% shorter stuns is garbage, when you can have full self cleanse on 2 min cd.
He wants to play horde though. So Orc IMO the best
i still stand that Panda is still viable, you still get the vers food. but in all fairness, i think all races are viable, they probs give a 2% increase at most imo
If I was a filthy alliance, i’d second this.
