So how does this all work, we have Volcanic which is nature/fire, flamestrike which is physical/fire, and then normal schools.
If I play with normal Feral spirits, the ones that increase physical damage done, will I benefit 100% from them using my Flamestrike spells like Sundering and Surging totem? Same goes for ‘Legacy of the frost witch.’
And do flamestrike spells also benefit 100% from the fiery version of Feral spirits?
If I have 1 nature wolf and 1 fire wolf I suppose I get a double bonus on my Flame shock?
And does our Nature dmg reduction talents reduce the damage of DK’s plague, since it’s nature/shadow, just as if it was nature?
IIRC flame shock does volcanic (fire + nature). If that is the case then it is not increased by physical. You might confuse it with flamestrike that increases fire+physical.
But yes more or less your assumptions are correct. Baring any bug, volcanic and other double school elements, get both increases and reductions from those elements.
As for DKs, their diseases deal either frost or shadow damage, not nature.
I said flame shock was nature + fire though.
I’ve read that their plague spell is nature+ shadow on Wowpedia.
Anyway would be nice to see details of this in game.
