ALL the Raider IO addon does is take the data from their database (that they collected via API) and present it to you ingame. So you dont have to Alt-Tab every time you want to look someone up.

I dont care how many tanks there are above some X rating. Fact is that they are less than 2% of every other roll at that rating.
They are a minuscule minority of people that play tanks in PvP.
Blizzard dosent want tanks in PvP because they disrupt gameplay in PvP. If players cannot die by any means… then its not PvP at all is it? You cant win.
All Warsong Gulches would last 20 minutes and in a tie because nobody would be able to die.
But you cant change that. A tank is a tank. Its JOB is to survive. If you nerf its survivability you turn it into a DPS. That is not variety. That’s messing around. As in: Why play a nerfed out BDK that is really a DPS… just play a UDK or something instead.
Its not difficult to understand really. And you dont have to be Rank 1 in PvP to understand that.

You might invite them to your guild. But I am 100% confident you will reluctantly let a tank play with you in a Rated BG. Or in an Arena match with you. ESPECIALLY because if you loose the game, you loose rating (unlike in PvE).
So you are being dishonest. You invite tanks to your guild, but then you put them on the bench and dont let them play with you guys. That’s super nice…

If you want to do dungeons completly alone… then do something easy. Like Heroic Dungeons or LFR. Those have a matchmaking system.

Yes and No , it takes that from blizz API but you need to have someone in your group that has raider IO for it to register to Raider IO , also you can hide your data from someone posting it , if you don’t have someone in your group that uses Raider IO desktop app or doesn’t manually uploads it from the addon your run isn’t registered at raider IO at all.
Yes and for it go be updated to their database you need someone in your group to have the desktop app to run to make auto uploads from blizz API or use the addon to upload which most ppl don’t use , all my life guildies besides 1 guy that run +15s never had it installed nor they used raider IO addon or their desktop app.

Its a minuscule amount of ppl who plays tank in entire wow , M+/Raiding forces ppl to take tank to be able to play it , 1 out of 4 in M+ is a tank and mostly its the same guy 2 out of the whole raid are tanks , they are minority that’s why it takes ages to find tank smart Udabuda ,
Yeah you are out of touch about pvp are you still in wotlk ages? Tanks dont disrupt they are part of the play that can be countered , you still living in the 2v2 ages without objective play? you cap flags / cap bases even if you don’t kill someone if you are skilled enough to chain CC 2 targets or push em off that where counter play comes.

Yup you got 0 clue what BDK is and what it is used for in bgs/blitz or whatever stick to getting boss hp to 0 , if you got no clue what difference BDK is to UDK in pvp is why do you even comment?

The API is updated every day. And Raider IO can get that info faster with the addon. SO? I am using data from 8 weeks. Irrelevant.

Funny thing is that whatever level you choose. The data sais the same thing. Most groups avoid having double classes. DONE.
1/5 people play tank in keys. There is no other possible statistic. And all those DDs overpopulating the LFG, simply dont get to play ANY dungeon. They simply wait in line, so they dont count in the “population stats” of keys.
In PvP, tanks take a DD spot. So technically, there could be SS arena matches with 4 tanks and 2 healers. So tank population could be anywhere from 3/3 to 0/3 in 3v3. Or 4/6 to 0/6 in SS shuffle. Same for BGs.
SO. They could be 80% of all players. They are 2% instead. That sais something right?
And one commenter said: “You are actively hurting your team playing tank”. Dont take my word. Take theirs.
I know NOBODY plays tank across any level. In ANY PvP mode ever.
And blizzard deliberately makes them receive 60% more damage in PvP so they die faster. Which makes them a slightly more tanky DD, but with half their DPS potential. That is all I need to know about a BDK and UDK.
You just show that you got no clue how pvp system work , you cant que as even 2 tanks in 3v3 and 2v2 the matchmaking system doesn’t allow ques of more then 1 tank into a bracket , also 2v2 and 3v3 is pretty empty brackets compared to shuffle and blitz where you can have also only 1 tank as the matchmaking system blocks anything above 1tank… Take the L.
i couldn’t care less about 1 comment of someone who probably didn’t pass 1.6k , i know how the games are played with tanks and their roles as i saw it hundred of times in blitz and shuffles.
Yeah you got 0 clue why blizz even nerfed BDK death grips CC and how they broke 1 healer out of the game only for blizz to add “Special DR” only for BDK grips and pushes so they cant take 1 healer out of the map and hold in the corners and implemented the nerf couple of weeks ago… dude you just type so much L’s in anything pvp related .
i won’t even start explaining each tank’s specific OP strenght’s and what they bring to the bgs , yet Guard druids are the most useless once but yet they can anti cap any flag point and they dont care if they are CCed/stunned as they pulse aoe with barskin making it impossible to ninja bases from them but yet again you wouldn’t bother to check.

And (B) OK. Then the population could be anywhere from 2/6 (1 tank in each group in SS), or 1/3 in 3v3 arenas… So instead of 30% population. You have 2% population.
In PvE, its IMPOSSIBLE to run any content with out a tank. So the tank population is exactly 20% in M+ and 10% in Raids.

Yup ven plays mainly shuffles/arena and yeah i follow him almost daily , pika fell off to classic and other games lately , ven play blitz or bgs very rarerly , actually not long ago he made video and spoke on stream a lot about Prot paladins abusing solo shuffles to climb high rating the fun part is the shuffles and arenas are the place you will see the least tanks unless they have insane utility in the season , otherwise tanks are way more common in bgs/blitz then any other bracket , for Blitz/bgs i would suggest checking Stinkie R1 warlock or someone who plays a bracket where tanks are more common so you will know exactly their roles .
So no Van never said tanks harm team performence in Blitz or bgs , the only thing they can harm is 3s or 2s and also not all tanks , shuffle won’t harm and cant harm anything as enemy team gets a tank also so it equates , also Ven spoke couple of weeks ago exactly about The nerf they gave to Blood DKs because of bg/blitz as to how insane they were taking out 1 healer from the entire game with their grips/CC .
So yeah try harder .
Its funny you take his tweet from 3 years ago but got no clue what brackets he plays or his recent talks about tanks , oh and BTW he said it in 2022 from your tweet that’s before tanks got the “DMG taken increase” in pvp change because they were over tanky aka exactly the opposite of what you are saying and how “Trash” they are because they are “Not tanky enough” what is even more funny is that the tweek you link was made before shuffles even existed in the game [Vens main bracket since it came out] .
Then again how can you get boosted in blitz or shuffle if its all random teams ? which is super funny the places you can get boosted is 2s and 3s , but then again you can go check all my exp from past expansions in any bracket on all my toons GL with that.
Fun fact i have 2.4k rated bgs before blitz came out before you even started doing M+ in SL season 2 (Your first achiv of 2k in M+) which btw is pretty casual , so when you were casual in 2k M+ someone already had 2.4k in rated bgs and 2.3k in 2s.
I suggest if you don’t have a clue or not follow of pvp streams like Van don’t put words in their mouths.
