Would love to see more weapon options.More axes and to be able to equip one handed swords.Couldnt hurt.

Shaman can use axe/mace/dagger/staff/shield /off hand/2 hander mace/2 hander axe thats a lot already

The inability for the shamans to use swords and polearms makes no sense, just like any other weapon restriction. The biggest example of this is the Vault of the Incarnates. Why can a shaman manifest a knife or a hammer out of stone or ice, but not a halberd or a sword despite the bosses and the trash mobs in the same raid using all kinds of weapons, including the trolls wielding warglaives of all things is a question still unanswered. Let’s be honest, if we could be as free in our customizations as the NPCs, we’d be playing a far better game.

If anything, Shamans can already equip a lot of weapon types. The issue is that we always get just Intellect Maces and Agility Axes and Agility Fists. Some variation would help.

It’s not about how much is already available. It’s just another case of restrictions that don’t make sense both by the logic and by what is available to the NPCs belonging to the same class, and another point towards letting us use whatever we want, armor and weapons alike.
