Shamans 5HP totems

It was a lazy Friday night while reading the forum I came across the sentence, “Dear Blizzard, could you raise the life of the totems?” I’m not a very good player and all in all I didn’t know how much hp a totem has.

And guess what - windfury totem has… 5hp!
Hahahahahaha realy Blizzard 5 HP?

The shaman’s totems are so weak that one bigger fart on BG knocks them all down at once.
They are so weak that a rat on a farm in Arathi can kill them.
A tavern bench has more life than a totem - probably made of a few abandoned totems.
One old shaman approached the tree and asked - O mighty tree what would you like to become after cutting down - a bench or a totem of a great shaman?
The bench - the tree answered. And guess what, it was the only right decision.
Children in kindergarten make flutes using the totems.
Shaman puts a totem before the boss pull in a Raids because there is a 60% chance that the boss will die from laughing.
When you save Thrall from Thorgast and when you come out you shout - Thrall you forgot your totem, and he says, - eh, leave it there.
The totems are so weak that they failed the exam to be a training dummy for a lvl 1.
A scarecrow dying in a fight with a shaman in Westfall looked at the totem and his last thought was - I could have ended up worse.

Windfury totem + tremor totem = 10 HP

Nothing has changed since many expansions - someone really doesn’t like ench shamans. It’s a pity because it’s an amazing spec with a long history.

They are designed (appart from earthen wall) to be 1 shot. They are not affected by AoE. So what does it matter if it’s 5hp or 500hp? Unless you want them to be able to take damage before going down.

I’m not totally against that but it makes them incredibly powerful. Tremor for example is an AoE fear cleanse. Even being up for 1second is incredibly powerful vs a priest running in for a fear.

I think certain totems should have more hp, ones that dictate rotation and dps, like wind fury for example. But others no.

Actually taking the time to get totems down should be worthwhile imo, if we had to spend more time killing a totem than a hunter pet, the totems might as well not have a health bar and just be uninteractible ground effects.

You imagine how op it would be in pvp scenario? You put tremor and you’re immune to fear, earthbind? Sweet long slow for everyone! Oh and you can’t get out of roots from totem neither! No… It was designed that way from the start. Totems are one shoted, but you have to target them. No aoe can hurt your totem, no npc can hurt your totem, they “die” only when enemy player manually target them and hit with an auto attack.

No. They should not be like hunters pets. As the post above said that would be ridiculously Op. tremor totem placed out of LoS already cleanses everyone at an objective. If it needed dps to get it down it would be insane.

They are and should be exactly like short term buffs. Instead of dispelling them you have to kill them. Hide them in buildings; corners, under bridges and let them profit.

Having a passive/talent to carry a single totem on your back like Baine would be cool though. Protecting it from being destroyed for the duration.

It may not have been clear from the way I wrote it, sorry;
I’m in favor of the 1-shottable totems. I think it’s neat.

So Windfury totem that is a foundation of Enh burst should have 5 hp?? Hell no its a joke.

Like said. No. WF should be non targetable tbh. Or appear on your back to be carried.
