Shamans in PvP

This.

Decent players ALWAYS shut me down as Ele Shaman in BG’s. If they let me free-cast then yeah, they’re wrecked. I slap Warriors easily in 1v1 but most other classes if played properly have toolkits to either lock me down or stop me casting which results on me relying on 5% chance Power Surge procs (which rarely procs btw).

Honestly, most of the Ele Shaman hate is just from bad players. Fact.

Shaman need to be nerfed to the ground and it’s nothing new, Warcraftlogs showed that in less than a week - it’s absolutely broken in PvE so imagine in PvP lmao. When I check my friend stream, it’s every single time 3 or 4 Shaman in battlegrounds xD.

Like nobody is playing this game seriously anymore, some class are hardstuck in Vanilla (Warrior) while others are playing Retail (Shaman) lmao.

It will come, probably next week.

Instant cast with 100% crit, tank runes abused in PvP, it was obvious  .

another one of teh unskilled players, keep dreaming

You are in all the threads defending the broken class, are you not? Do you believe your lies?

Eat those 20 minutes queues. I hope it takes longer and longer.

You missed the point blizz is trying to show us.
Wars were always at the wotlk level

Totally agreed, shamans need huge nerfs. As melee hunters do too.

Nerf will come to them, I think even sooner the we expect.

But I feel like no class is safe till zugzugs will be on top of charts always again lol

Make every class OP? You think you do, but you don’t.

Sure, with the removal of bubble, lay on hands and plate armor.

Feel the love…

Oh no, they buffed the worst performing class in the game??!!! Outrageous!

While shamans are in a good spot right now, and it would appear many think it’s too good, it can’t be denied that the class was laughably bad until the past couple of weeks. So while you can argue the extent of the buffs were too much, you can’t say they were completely uncalled for.

It was a rock bottom DPS all of phase 1 and the second phase started out the exact same way. I wouldn’t care much if DPS was nerfed a bit at this point, but the class was very bad and it definitely needed buffs. So using that list as some sort of indication that shamans are treated more favorably than other classes is bull. All it shows is how much it took to take it from the bottom.

It’s ok to give a class some love if it deserves it but here it was clearly overtuned.

The damage output for elem and enh is getting out of hand.

theme named Shaman in PvP

So shamans should be bad in PVE because they could perform decently in PVP? Well then, guess it’s fine for warriors to suck in PVP then since they’re good in PVE

I’m happy that every spec can perform in PVE and the opposite should not happen.

Now it’s impossible to deny that they are only on one faction and they are too powerful. As many people said, SP are way too strong RN, but it’s OKAY since both faction can have SP.

How hard is it to understand ?

shamans should not be #1 tank in pve, #1 melee in pve, #3 ranged in pve and globaling people in pvp
with all their utility they should be mediocre
and warriors are not good in pve, no utility and damage is meh

I personally would be perfectly happy with being middle of the pack.

WCL would beg to differ.

Let’s be honest, nobody care about the zugzug raid. It’s kind of fun to beat old content but it’s not challenging at all and should not be any issue about who can zugzug more, unless some spec can’t enter because they are too weak.

Plenty of people do. So who do you balance the game for? The people that enjoy PVE? Those that only play BGs? Or those that refuse to do either and only do duels?
