Shaman casually pumping 5 million dps.
But I dont think its a bad thing. Shamans were always really good in AoE combat, and it fine that they get to shine.

enhance is actually quite bad in aoe compared to other specs.
enhance is mostly target capped.
if you want to blast max numbers in big aoe you have to play unholy dk not enhance.
enhance is great in 5 targets and has good funnel dmg

Well, I agree that current state of the game balance-wise is terrible. Prior to TWW I only really played SL and DF, and current balance is the worst it has ever been, even if you take into account broken classes prom previous expansions like survival in SL with bombardier tierset, or god comp in DF.
Blizzard showed time and time again that they are totally inept at balancing the game.
To answer people who say that enhance is target capped, yeah that is true, but it only really matters in MDI. In real live keys where people pull maximum of 2 packs enhancement is murdering everyone.
But real problem in my eyes is that there are classes like fire mage or beast mastery hunter who simply cannot compete in keys. Difference between top and bottom classes is too much.
What worries me a lot is that they have not posted any real balance patchnotes for upcoming .7 patch, yikes!

No one is gonna disagree that the game needs some balance tuning at the moment, especially to bring down some specs and help some others. But to actually compare those periods of time to the current meta just makes you lose any credibility.
For once enhancement is good and the mages who are the love children of blizzard start complaining.
6 targets or lower is where enhance is supposed to be good at.
Enhance hasn’t been meta for a long while. Mages have been frequently. What is there to complain about?
We had it pretty rough in DF to get into good grps for m+. And at some point we will be there again.

Making some classes ocasionally completely broken and op while keeping other classes nerfed is nowadays Blizz balance policy. Forcing other players to spend time on rerolling and gearing…
Took 20 years, but looks like Blizzard finally got the “Battle” (melee) in “Battle Mage” right about Enhancement Shamans.
I don’t mind the fact that the majority of their dps comes from spells. If anything it makes them more unique.

It has been that way since WotLK. The only thing that changed is that stormbringer has a new spell that does a good amount of damage, and buffs nature damage abit more.
The playstyle has not changed drastically, but had few additions over the years (SB resets, hailstorm, hot hands), but the core of the spec has been the same.
Only time that was not the case was in legion/bfa where we got a fury warrior reskin. Not that it was not fun for a while, but it was clear that things would need to change when your optimal rotation became to press SS until the heat death of the universe.
They made a melee class play like a caster and a caster play like a melee. Blizz are genius at fixing problems…

How can i complete 11s if I’m not getting invited. I think your problem is that you can’t reach 2.5k rio playing an A tier class.

ofc you can. there are plenty people playing non meta above 3k.
If you are having trouble getting into keys, List your own or start a group with friends/Guild mates etc.
You are playing meta with 636 ilvl gear and only 2.6k RIO telling me how to get into keys
pretty sure enh has been tuned down a little, yes they are still meta and probably one of the top dps dealers atmo still but that doesn’t mean they havent buffed other class’s slowly bringing them in line with the rest im pretty sure arcane is the lowest performing spec for mage at the moment in keys - you could probably gain 400-500k if you just respect into frost/fire
you probably still wont be meta but your performance will go up for sure
and it doesn’t matter what score you get when you start pushing higher keys then what you already have done even if you are a meta spec doesn’t mean you will be invited so finding a group that you can play with or play the LFG simulator until you get into a group
Yea, I don’t enjoy the dungeon pool. So I just do weekly 10s.
And It’s not my fault enhancement became meta. I also play a surv hunter alt. Can take a minute to get into a group, but it’s still not that bad.
