Shape shifting?

does constant shape shifting require mana? i remember back in the older expansions druids had to pay for constand shape shifting with mana and would sooner or later run oom if they were shape shifting constantly.

is this not the case anymore?

It is not the case anymore. Shapeshifting does not cost mana in retail.

so there is basically no downside for the druid if he is constantly shape shifting to get rid of slows?

Pretty much. You can spam shapeshifts forever.

He won’t be doing much damage if he’s shifting all the time, it isn’t off the global CD like it used to be. So for me in cat form to get out of a slow I shift to bear and back to cat, that’s 3 seconds of global before I can do abilities.

Tiger’s Fury, Berserk and Incarn put you into form without global though

Still pretty broken against classes that have no selfheal. as DK for example he puts bleeds on me and starts running away until he has cooldowns again and meanwhile he is healing himself. i cant spam chains of ice because he has infinite shapeshifts while i lose runes if i use chains of ice.

what a bad game design. i really wish druid wouldnt be blizzards favourite child just for once

just press abomination’s limb then

Catch them stunned in travel form and kill them before they’re out, easy.

The game design isn’t based around you winning against all other specs in a 1vs1 setting. Welcome to wow btw! (I’m guessing you’re new based on your post…)

i remember back in the older expansions

Then you should also remember that mana users dd had to actualy manage mana as resource, which is also infinite right now.
