Shaping Fate - Torghast?

Why Torghast clears don’t clear shaping fate weekly quest?? this is absurd

I find this bliztarded too. I wish Shaping Fate was as simple as 1x Twisting Corridors or 2x Torghast runs. Then we could get this done while grinding the weekly lost souls.

It can be done exclusively in Korthia… I say can, but many get too bored, too quickly to want to stay there more than 2 seconds.

Korthia every week for every char gets old very fast, hence my desire for allowing us to do other content and get credit too.

Some players can’t stand being in Torghast a second longer than they HAVE to be.

Assaults count for Shaping Fate… and you DO have a week to get it done. You ‘could’ conceivably NOT accept the Quest…

Why should it count in thorghast? Why not world quests in sl? Or by other quests as level 60.

Shaping Fate is an quest where you are wanted to go out and assault the Jailer’s forces, so all dailies and rares in Korthia and the Maw naturally counts towards it, in addition to the rotating covenants assaults.

Because Torghast is Jailer’s domain in the Maw, doing Torghast is literally assaulting his forces.

Because that is like asking why doing WQs around Broken Isle doesn’t counts towards Argus weekly. WQs on the covenant realms are defensive actions against anything, thus not being much of any offensive action towards the jailer.

So what? None says Shaping Fate should only have Torghast as a source for completion.

You misses the point completely.

I think that depends on how you define and ckassify things. Personally I dont mind how things are now without thorghast being a part of the weekly quest. It is so easy just go around killing mobs and the even a rare you kill twice counts toward the weekly quest. You can kill it many times and it still counts.

For you who only do Shaping Fate once per week Korthia surely is sufficient…
However, for us with alts who have to repeat the same quests and rares for every alt, having the option to run Torghast instead would be a welcome variety,

You don’t have to. I don’t even do it on my main currently.

It’s weird because the faction quests in the maw add to it so you would think that there would be other sources to fill that bar. Run of quests gets me about 40-45% then I go the maw and do the covenant quest and then back to korthia to get some rares and treasures then I get to 100%. Takes me about 35 more or less.

And Torghast every week for every char DOESN’T get old very fast?!

Not you again, gnome. Gnome off!!!

Shoo pricky ears!

At least doing the weekly Torghast would also complete Shaping Fate; that’s better than doing Korthia in addition, right?

PS: I miss your old transmog :frowning:

Not really imo.
Because I don’t do Torghast. Hands down worst content of Shadowlands.

But sure; having the option would be fine.
I still wouldn’t do Torghast though.

Aww. Which one?

‘pulp adventurer’ ?
‘crazy forest gnome’ ?
‘steampunk hero’ ?

:innocent:

The very mog one of my alts rated 10/10. Could it have been the one you name Steampunk Hero? Most definitely your previous mog as seen on the forums.

I see. Well that’s probably my most used mog; the pulp adventurer.
But with these depressing Shadowlands themes and such, I needed something over the top cute/silly. Hence this mog.

Maybe once 9.2 hits, I’ll go back to my more traditional mogs.

I don’t think its a bad idea having Torghast provide some completion for Shaping Fate, you could then use Torghast to knock out both that and the 20 souls quest then.

Honestly, it would be nice if Torghast was worth maybe 20-25%.

It’d not be time efficient to do 4-5x Torghasts vs Korthia (an hour spread over 2 days if you’re sane), but if you needed Torghast anyway, it would make good sense to sneak it in.
