I’ve been wanting to do more with friends outside of BG’s, Arena and Rated Battlegrounds.
It dawned upon me that it would be very nice to have access to Gurbashi Arena for a Free For all brawl - That we can set up ourselves as a PvP community.
The issue is, sharding.
All of our friends across the community are on different servers.
I’d like to suggest a few things.
1: Make Gurbashi Arena include all shards - Probably a high ask.
2: Create a custom arena setup for players - Challenge your friends to fights, 5v5, 6v6,7v7 2v10 who cares, just allow custom setups - No rewards or honor gains. Just bragging rights.
3: Raid leader takes raid group to Gurbashi Arena - Everyone steps inside - Raid leader initiates a countdown - 10 seconds, everyone is PvP flagged. Last one standing wins.
We’re not looking for a properly formed tournament that’s got a long countdown and WoW based systems controlling it, that’d be just boring and slow.
We’d like to be able to drop 2 groups, into an arena - Group A challenges Group B - and fwalla, they get at it in the middle of the arena with the ability to spectate. This would be really cool done in Gurubashi
The incentive for this was to provide paid rewards for the winning team and general bragging rights within the community.
