Hi Blizzard. Can you create share mounts that are no longer available on Retail from Cata to Retail? I have some on Cata but I can’t get them on Retail anymore. And it would also be a good idea to enable the upcoming WoW Pandaria permanently and not just for a short time, do it as you have the first WoW Classic it will never disappear.
I mean the mounts from the dungeon raid that are no longer obtainable
In other words you want your Cata Classic collection tabs to become available in Retail and MoP Classic becoming MoP Classic Era. I have some questions for you:
- Why do you think MoP Classic would be the last one in 2019 Classic line of re-releases? They definitely would love to go to Legion.
- WoW retail and WoW Classic, despite sharing a game engine, have separated databases. Updating these between Retail and Cata would be very costly. Merging of our collections would happen only when Classic 2019 concludes somewhere in 2030 in the end of Legion Classic I suppose.
I oinly care about MOP/WOD classic when it comes to CM sets and weapons
I want those and i will get it when MOP comes and i hope wod comes also so i can get it.
then we can talk about merging so i can have that TMOG in my collection on retail.
Technically, not at all.
You select a list of (account id, collection item id) and them merge it into the other.
I’m a bit of two minds about this in both directions.
I enjoy Classic being down-to-earth, people riding horses and stuff.
However, it feels pointless to farm anything in Classic because I don’t get to retain it. My highest Cata subaccount character is 80. I dabble with it, sometimes, but it’s done.
Modern is a bit of a mess, but I also don’t play it much and it’s a bit pointless to farm anything there because I won’t really use it…
Like, if I could xmog my classic resto druid to use the lunar gear, I would.
I understand availability would have to be selective, modern has gotten a little too far.
But, the WLK (or Cata?) special already added some really out-of-place mounts.
And global pets would be cute. I purchased my little seasonal tree (name forgotten) and I would love it to follow my druid around in Classic. But WLK wasn’t the same without the Pandaren Monk and Lil’KT pets.
