This is my opener from the time that I mained WW monk, and it would generally would bring me to the top of meters and after that was just maintaining the damage.
First things first. This is for pve, also when your tanks are pulling you want to consider.
Pre-potting
Bloodfury
As an orc, the racial ability pairs perfectly with invoke Xuen talent, and being an orc makes my pet deal 1% more than other races (not much but we take everything we can.
So for me it makes sense macro’inging those two abilities together.
Right before engaging the boss this is the sequence
pre-pot
Bloodfury / Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger
Chi Wave, before combat starts (pay attention to pulls, ninjapulls are not cool).
Storm, Earth, and Fire, this is a flat (+35% damage than you would normally do)
Flying Serpent Kick (for landing damage but mostly gap closing)
Here starts the core of it:
Touch of Death
Tiger Palm Icon
Fist of the White Tiger (this in second so we can take advantage of monk physical dmg debuff)
Rising Sun Kick
Fists of Fury
(By the time you are finishing FoF, your touch of death should be coming to an end and while you are still high on damage with all this going on, that ToD tick will put you above the rest, to which you tie nicely with Whirling Dragon Punch, if you can add it before ToD expires that extra dmg will be added due to it’s mechanic of +10% dmg of 8 second duration)
Touch of Death expires and gives a massive hit that allows you stay up there, also if you can set this up in pvp during a stun, well if executed properlly it will give you a kill window.
Before healing spheres got removed from WW, in pvp I loved using teleport with 3 healing orbs on the spot so that you would get a big insta heal when porting back, but guess it was too much fun.
