What about shared reputation already? If it will be implemented in future for sure plaase share with me link cant find it and i am sorry for useless post. If no, would be really nice to have shared reputation shared across acc. I am being sick of farming rep on alts which i have full on main. And it can be balanced with making rep more grindy and take longer or something. And also for example if you did this quest on main, on alt it will not give you rep cuz you have taken that rep already or smthg.
This is coming in 8.1.
Reputation will count for all your alts if you have achieved it on one character.
Although your alt may not physically have the rep if you check your reputation on them, all vendor items, achievements and associated with the said achievement will be unlocked for them.

Well, but it doesnt apply to buying things no? Like if i am exalted with something on main, on alt i still need rep grind to buy item no? I have found changes will apply only to heart of azeroth, cosmetics for wardrobe and achievements. So i will still need to grind in order to get recipes and gear.
No, you will be able to buy the items on all alts if you got the rep achi on your main.

I have all the reps exalted on one char in BFa, so I’m so happy for this change.

I remember it being mentioned somewhere but I forgot exactly where. Will try to find the source. Maybe it got changed since then to include only unlocked transmog, not sure to be honest.

8.1 goes live with the next reset… my take is that what’ll get unlocked is Titles & Transmog’s, and cross account acknowledgement of Exalted statii (statuses?)
I’m hoping that neither of us needs to do that; I won’t be impressed… but neither will I be surprised.

So what happens with reps that are mutually exclusive ? (Frenzyheart/Oracles and Aldor/Scryer are 2 that I can think of).
Seems to me like abit of an exploit if I have one char with one of those reps at max and a different char with the other rep at max, will both chars now have both reps at exalted ?
Both count as one, even if you have both of them on 2 different characters…
You have to actively choose one over the other to even get one and their Rep. gains counter each other.
That said, not sure how it applies to Bloodsail, as you can need both them & the Goblin ones in favourable states, to get IitM…
Frenzyheart and Oracle reps both count towards the no of exalted reps ach, ie if you get Frenzyheart to exalted then the no of reps at exalted increments by one, then if you grind Oracle rep to exalted the no of rep at exalted increments by a further one, so those aren’t treated as one.
So what you’re saying is that when we log on after the rep change we will get a pop up asking us to choose which of the reps we want for that char, or will there be some other way of choosing one.
You can have one but you can’t have both. The achievement for reps goes down by one if you lose rep with a faction. Just like it will go down by one and then up by one if you swap frenzy/oracle or scryers/aldors.
No… any warring factions that have countering reputations will count as ONE for your account, but one each for the characters that have them. If you have two characters with one each of Frenzyheart & Oracles, your account progress meta of Rep’s at Exalted will only count them as one.
Same for Aldor/Scryers, too
BLoodsail and Cartel reps should not be in that lot, both can be exalted on same character.

I’ma wait 'til next reset to find out for certain… but that’s my take.
So this account wide rep will let my newly made level 1 alt become instantly exalted with the guild and then when they get to Shattrath can choose a Netherwing drake without any appreciable effort.
Wrong you will not be able to buy the gear on alt but you will be able to use tabards and other rep restricted mogs.
The reps just count towards achives easier and make lvling neck easier for alts that is all.
Please dont spread wrong info.
