Shared collection from Cata to retail

I think its pretty cool idea, may raise popularity of Cata for Dragonflight players, they can get achievement’s that currently unobtainable.

Achievements are usually easier to get in Classic than how they were originally. This will make those achievements less special.

Agree, but still some motivation to play classic for some retail grinders, and some people from classic may also want to try retail since they got some mounts/mogs.

One day Blizzard would allow transfers to Retail, when Classic would see diminishing numbers of subscribers. But this would not bring the most stubborn Classic player to Retail. I would rather have my progress saved somewhere, but I don’t feel retail is the place. In 2012, during first month of MoP launch I did a introductionary quest line to meet lore walker Cho for the first time. I remember saying to myself “When I will be ready to quit WoW for good this will be the place for my last logout”. Might be as well true if we ever get to MoP Classic. Whom am I fooling, we all are going to play Legion Classic.

Ive tried retail because of D3 bonus mount, was wondering how it looks on retail.
Missed like 5 expansions, was no idea how it was goin, i was amazed it’s head above of what i felt on classic/tbc/wotlk leveling+ somewhy i was sure i was limited to lvl 20-30 content w/o buying Dragons, was wrong about that.

Blizzard has already said that there is going to be no cross progression or anything of that nature between Classic and retail.

Who cares about 15-year-old achievements in an already bloated game. Retail has plenty of achievements which are a lot harder/ more prestigious than any of the legacy stuff, outside of maybe rank 1 and realm 1st titles.
