Sharing Quest Item drops on Shifting Sand Opening Quest

Hello Blizzard,

Would you please consider adjusting the drop rates for items like the Narain’s Goggles in MC or the fragments for the Green Shard quest? It feels like this quest is designed exclusively for large guilds with extensive communities. Even for these guilds, it requires multiple runs to gather multiple items, despite only one head being available from BWL, which should already serve as the primary bottleneck. Adding additional barriers beyond this seems excessive.

The launch of the new Fresh Classic servers has significantly reduced the player base in Season of Discovery (SoD). It would be great if you could take this into account to ensure players still have opportunities to progress, recruit new members, and enjoy the content without being burdened by additional grinding.

Thank you for your consideration.

The entire questline requires a revamp, there’s so much wrong with it that I do not even know where to start. People should just accept that it’s one of those rare things like the old ranking system: conceptually flawed, unreasonably grindy even by vanilla standards, encourages unwanted behavior etc.

Agreed Ashgiver, the main problem ive found if people farmijg frags for their own self greed. Blizzard should of put a block on any AH trading or something or locked the Agent of Nozdormu’s so that frags looted by you can only be given to the person who gave you the Agent. it is clear to see that many many people are buying gold if you know where to look.

the raid items are just ridiculous. the goggle themselves being one. a 20 person raid team the other night and our one member on that quest didnt even loot it which is absolutely ridiculous. a simple few changes would have prevented all this hassle. im the best part of 8 days into god knows how many hours farming fragments being layered swapped and having massive contention for mobs only to then see that someone else wins the mob to then put the frags on the AH. a simple silithus event like the blackrock event would have fixed this. "silithus event acive spawn rate greatly increased or something.

i spent weeks farming CC rep and now yet again im on catch up because ive taken my time out the goodness of my heart to help other going for thwe mount because half the server is farming to sell and 75% of the guild wont help.

what happened to community. these folsk thinking their getting their tier tokens not realising you need to have rep to hand them in.

Dangle some epics and an ugly mount infront of people and they will do about anything for it holy :poop:

I thought people doing the cata archaeology 12 hour daily shifts for weeks where no different to crack addicts tbh, don’t think they could help themselves sadly

It’s like people are reliving some childhood fantasy/dream of being a scarab lord and this is it! NOW IS THE TIME!

Seen a few get very salty/toxic over all this, adults, not kids, I can hear their kids in the background when raiding. Wow and man children go hand in hand.

It’s such a weird thing, unless your in a close knit guild and everyone gets on like a house on fire its a HUGE unreasonable expectation to get your guild members to farm this god awful place… just to get one person an ego boost basically.

I made enough to buy the three new crafted nature res gear and epic mount from selling these silly things to crazy people, In that respect its been great…for me anyway

And yeah most of the gold in sod is probably bought now to get these with real cash, sad state people are pumping real cash into such a ridiculous thing
