I’ve run freehold so many times since before the seasons even started and have only seen sharkbait once. Once and that was the first time I did it on mythic and some paladin got it.
Then I see this happen in a run:

Seen it drop 3 times in the 150 or so runs I’ve done across chars. Got it last time
I’ve seen it drop a few times , one of my guildies got it also .
I think i have seen it ~5 times dropped in total of Bfa. I got the mount myself too. We are running now sometimes freehold 0 on some chars for our ret paladin since she is a mount collector.

Haven’t seen it drop, but then again; I’ve been to Freehold maybe 4 times max during BfA’s lifespan.
Saw it drop once, guildie didn’t want it so me and another rolled.
I won so I only need the UR crawg but god I don’t feel like running more BFA dungeons for a while

It is personal loot, so everyone who has it can not get it dropped anymore.
Yup, we were able to trade and just because it’s personal loot doesn’t mean you can’t trade it or loot it anymore.
Would have been an issue in HFC when we traded the Archimonde mount or Blackhand mount to others. They were able to loot them later on.
Also alts are a thing-

I got the mechagon hard mode mount twice and gave it away both times to friends who actually wanted it.

I expected personal is personal. Soulbound and stuff.
Only as long as the ilvl of the item you loot is higher than any you’ve equipped in the past/currently have equipped.
It’s frankly an awful system and I miss oldschool rolling and ML.
Note: This is purely from a raiding perspective with actual fair MLs.
I’ve only seen it drop once, when I got it, that’s it.
