It seems as if the Shirakess apprentices located at Shirakess Repository in northen Nazjatar are casting an ability called “Shadowdelving”. They all seem to share the cast timer which at the time of writing this finishes casting in roughly 24 days, might this be something new coming up at the end of October or is it just nothing?
Also, this is the area I get the most N’zoth whispers in.

If I remember correctly, there was something similar with a certain mob in Stormsong valley, which had a countdown that was supposed to be for 8.2. But 8.2 didn’t end up being released until after that timer, and I’m not sure whether it was extended or anything.
Maybe someone else would know more, but considering that development has been a lot slower than Blizzard had expected so far, it wouldn’t surprise me if we end up waiting more than 24 days for the next patch/update
If I remember correctly blizz did something like this in Legion on the Broken shore. Might be nothing but they have done these types of casts for NPC’s before.
I want to be there when that cast goes off! I think… maybe? 
Should be around the 23rd or 24th
