Should every class and spec have it (almost) all?

Hear me out:
Not every class should insane CC.
Not every class should have insane mobility.
Not every class should have insane survivability.
Not every class should have immunities.
I think Knockbacks are fun because they’re goofy, and we should give everyone a form of it instead these micro CC type of stuff. And the knockbacks should be really minimal- Typhoon type of thing.
Not every class should have purge/spellsteal.
Everybody should have some sort of a slow but nobody should be able to slow you for more than 55% and mages freeze procs should cause root DR.
Everyone should have a Healing Reduction mechanic, just so more comps can be viable.
The same way every class has to have some sort of dispel or self dispel ability that removes at least poisons.
And every class should be able to AOE, ofc to what extrend number-wise i cannot tell.
I feel like every class hails from some alternative Marvel universe and things need to get toned down.
The game is becoming incomprehensive for the viewers (as in streaming) and for the new coming players too.
And even for the veterans themselves to a considerable extent.

Tell me what you think.

Its too much of everything to everyone. Cant keep track of everything. Some time ago if someone did crit huge amount, players knew why. If some bubble popped, players knew why and what.
Now even veterans dont know what is going on. Unwatchable if not playing wow for sure.
WOW 2 please

Would suggest to prune classes abilities slightly but with out homogenization

Prune ? tnx for using english accordingly.

I’d say nobody should have Healing Reduction but Arms/Rogue. Nerfed appropiately if necessary, but if we’re talking class identity then we should look for making identity in all elements of class kits, healing reduction used to be a unique part. Now its not.

Other than that i agree with the principle you’re trying to push - classes/specs are once again getting too homogenized.

Just my 2cents on this.

The first and last time everyone had everything was MoP, and it caused Blizzard to spend the rest of the game’s immediate history backpedaling and removing the tools they had given people.

Gross homogenization is good for convenience but horrendous for player experience - and there’s no need for the former in the current world where you can level a character from 1 to 80 in 8 hours and gear it instantly upon dinging.

I don’t hate the idea of every class having a healing reduction, but I’ve lobbied for years (and would then more than ever) for them to be given the Sharpen Blade treatment. Passive MS effects (slows too) are archaic remnants from a (imo better) time where Mortal Strike (the ability itself) had a large Rage cost and was balanced around the fact that you were never able to keep it up permanently.

Healing reduction effects for all classes need to be taken off MS/RSK/Felguard/Rip+Rake etc and made into their own “healing reduction button” that’s on the GCD and has a cooldown. Something that you consciously press that the enemy player can interact with instead of just something that has 100% uptime and zero counterplay.

100% agree with this idea but then you advantage people with immunities who already got a massive advantage in the arena because they will just be able to immune it.
