Should i go Vulpera or Troll hunter?

Hi, i have a Goblin hunter and want to change to either Vulpera or Troll. Which is better lore-wise? And your subjective opinion matters too

Troll without a doubt. There’s next to no lore for Vulpera in comparison.

But it all comes down to aesthetics imo. Which do you like looking at more?
In that case my answer is: Vulpera.

Vulpera are cute, have a camp that feels very hunter-y, their mount can put a roof as a customisable option. You have more bag slots, a fun defensive passive from their racial. But as Tah said, vulpera are very new and underutilized. If you want a rich hunter lore you can hit up the trolls instead. Orr maybe if you like their aesthetics.

In the end… Both work as hunters and it’s up to you

I like Trolls for their accent and vibe (cool tribes) but i like Vulperas too cause they are like small dogs/wolfs and i love dogs. So that’s why it’s hard to decide

Well, that’s a point for the vulpera. Also you can tame cute small animals if you want a troll. Honestly, it’s not an end of the world choice. Hit the character creator up and try the troll starter zone. Try making transmog.

Hit the vulpera character creator and make it to vol’dun, adventure around! Make transmog!

Maybe just whichever race doesn’t get chosen now can get chosen for a shaman(though as cute as vulpera totems are imagine troll shamans who are all about da voodoo)

In the case of heritage armor, imo the troll set blasts the vulpera set out of the water (plus it has a questline attached to it).

Yeah, i guess a troll shaman would be even cooler, i think i’ve had one before but deleted for some reason. Also i had a vulpera hunter which i leveled to 21 (still have him) and i tamed two black hyenas and it looked really cool

Lore wise both are a normal match for a hunter. Question shouldn’t really be what fits best lore-wise, but rather which lore you like the most. I like dwarf and orc lore a lot, so I like to create these types of chars

Yeah this is my patch but that’s why i made a goblin bruiser

Vulpera is both cuter and funnier, and they look amazing in the big floppy hates from the ensemble vendor in Dornogal. Only reason not to be vulpera is because you either want to be alliance, your you just can’t with that particular class (paladins when).

(I’m not a one for lore, idk any.)

Both are great options if you are into the savage/primitive races, with hunter being an excellent class to compliment that. Trolls certainly are more versatile (hailing from jungles, deserts as well as forests), with tons of history and stories/questlines from all over Azeroth. Wherever the red Horde banner waves, Trolls are at home.

Vulpera are a bit too niche; being so few and coming from one place. If you wanna play a race and explore it by being surrounded by it, want that feeling of belonging, then you are left with Voldun, pretty much.

But unless you want to roleplay and look for race-exclusive guild, I think more important are animations and general feel of the race, potentially also racial bonuses if you want to min-max in some way (like profession levelling). Make an alt of both and give them a try for a few hours and see for yourself; especially if you are attached to this hunter and plan to spend money on a race change.

vulpera. i always suggest vulpera. i might be biased.

but also think - extra hearthstone, bigger backpack, fluffy tail and pointy ears

I’d play around a bit on both. See how you like the animations and such  They have such a different vibe, I’m guessing that’ll help you decide.

(I love my vulpera tho. So cute!)

My subjective opinion would be Troll because badass always wins out for me. Having said that, check out what you like the mogs on and which looks good on your favourite mounts.
