Just pug if you’re raiding heroic, guildraids for anything but mythic is usually gigacringe and atleast 1/3rd of the raid are people who are there to get carried cause they know some of the higherups in the guild.
Ok there is an explanation for this and have seen it happen many times. The mythic team needed to funnel gear to someone from the team and they didn’t want to risk the loot going to someone who could not trade it, also by what i gather from your story the night the mythic team were clearing sire wasn’t a scheduled raid night correct ? I suggest clearing this up with your GM, but don’t come off too harsh, just ask him/her if all are still welcome to the HC nights and are they still planing to help get AotC for the people outside of the mythic group. However if the new raid nights are not to your liking you should probably move.
This is a bit concerning however. There could be a million reasons why this is happening, it could be a you problem and it could be a clique problem.
Post too long, dident read at all. But if you need to ask yourself that q, the answer is prolly yes.
this one u got from normal, from january 17
right now he is around 3k+ dps at heroic difficulty:
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/eu/quelthalas/aden#difficulty=4
he is now 211 ilvl and switched to venthyr, so it’s not really that bad for a warrior, he also is mostly at green logs, so it’s not utter trash by any means
warriors have it hard in castle nathria, those mechanics are just antimelee mostly
If your logs are indicative then you are not going to get the curve if you don’t start playing a lot better.
No one in this game is required to carry anyone. Guildie or not.
3k dps sounds low for his ilvl.
I”d say, try one more time this week to get curved.
If u manage it, find another guild.
If u dont, find another guild.
They seem to be greedy and suspicious.
I’d say go for it. Be the woman you want to be. Don’t let any man hold you back…that was the hidden meaning of This post right? …
<note to self, stop reading between the lines>
<further note: “get curved” is an achievement reference, not what I thought>
well you should read between lines.
OP is most likely part of alt-raid team . not of main team .
thats why they refused to inv him to main team raid. they probably did quick denathrius kill for loot before mythic raid.
That normal Denathrius no longer represents my current dps. When I first joined the guild I joined literally just in time for raid, I joined and before I knew it I was doing normal Denathrius with no clue as to what I was doing. I was low ILVL back then and in the wrong covenant, at the moment I pull higher dps because my ILVL is higher and I’m in the right covenant
Did this get resolved in any way? Eager to hear updates
Last night was the first time we did shriek - sludge - stone legion and then sire, and despite what I said we got very close. I thought we wouldn’t even get to sire soon enough to give it a go but we got there within an hour. We got sire to literally 0.03% before we wiped. So we can do it but we just haven’t yet. I still think the mythic team doing sire is unfair though.
Sire is a boss that gives nearly mythic-level gear and its difficulty is beyond the first 1-2 bosses of mythic. If they are under the impression that the ‘casual’ group is not capable of killing the boss and they do want to get it rekilled because some mythic people need upgrades, I do understand where they’re coming from. It might sound harsh, but… just because you’re part of a guild does not mean they have to bring you along for their kills if they think it’s far easier if they bring better players and feel short on time.
I dont understand why you expect to join the mythic team (no matter what content they do), when you are not part of the mythic team.
They probably nuked it one go, in order to get a couple of upgrades. Adding casuals to the kill would slow them down.
Except I left someone I care about there I hated the way they handled things, but now I hate more not being with “her” in the same guild… Choices
It’s okay, the chads in the guild will keep her company in your absence bud.
She won’t sleep with you lmao.
So you’re a social, joining a social inclusive raid and you’re not on the main roster. You don’t get to kill the boss but the main raiders get the kill on a main raid day, when socials are not included. How is this a problem? xd
Also, your entire group has bad dps but you would easily kill it if people would stop dying in phase 1 and 2 (looking at the most recent log from yesterday).
People always stay alive during phase 1. Only a couple of times have people died from the transition from phase 1 to phase 2. But phase 2 is when things start going wrong. Atleast 1 person always dies. I’m not even sure how, surely after doing it so many times its easy to dodge the stuff lmfao

When you join a guild, never speak until you’re spoken to, if your guild mates don’t speak to you on a daily basis, leave the guild.
-
Never offer up your services to do anything, unless they directly ask you for help and they talk to you daily, if they never or rarely ask you for help, leave the guild.
They’re the ones that need you, you don’t need them, if you don’t establish this they will show you that you’re the one that needs them, they don’t need you.
