Was thinking about the new wow expansion and the level changes and thought since you wont be able to get to level 130, should i level my other characters to max level for the new expansion. Anyone know if there is bonuses or if you start at a different level?
The bonus of doing it after the new expansion launches will be quicker levelling with better pacing of abilities, levels, and better story telling to go with it.
The benefit of doing it now is it is something to do now and you won’t have to wait 10 - 11 months to play those characters.

If you level them now, you will spend around 40h with heirlooms to reach lvl120 on a character and start working on seasonal transmog or just play a class you like. Once the level squish is live (most likely 8.3.5) he’ll end up lvl50.
If you wait until the level squish you will most likely spend at most 30h to reach lvl60 (Ion said 50 to 70% faster, but it’s unknown whether they’ll keep the heirlooms or not). You’ll miss limited content for BFA thought but it’ll be faster.
Another issue may be that you may want to play a character in the shadowlands at launch, not the old world. I know that I won’t touch ALTs for a while once 9.0 is live because I want to play the fresh content and try the 4 covenants, not level yet another alt.
